JasbadSirron My hydrosoil mix of 50-60% sifted organic bag soil, 20-30% Coco and the remainder is vermiculite and perlite. I pre flush the soil with a root stim, molasses, a probiotic formula (Gogo Juice) and CalMag. Under 900w full spec LEDs, CalMag is essential from early on. I could get more yield if I did coco or hydro, but doing it this way gives the plants more autonomy and they are less prone to nute lock or pests. It also improves the smell and effect.

JasbadSirron Diary for Diesel Auto.
Not a bad week. Not much to really do except make sure my settings are dialled I’m. Humidity was down this week, but the Diesel is going strong. I’ve run this strain before and I can say that the genetics aren’t perfectly stable. I’ve had some weird spindly phenotypes and some that fall over and die as seedlings, whilst other strains in the exact same conditions are consistently strong. In saying that, when you get it right, the buds are sticky and super strong. And the high is bloody good. Really energetic and focused.

JasbadSirron Another good week. Conditions were stable and I didn’t have to do much this week except leave it alone. My last Diesel Auto was already in flower by now and throwing out male balls, so this one is already an improvement.

JasbadSirron She’s finally starting to take off. This is week 4 since I planted the un- popped seed directly into soil, so it’s really only day 20 or so from when it first broke the soil. These are notoriously hard to get right...so far so good. She’s starting to really put on a new set of leaves every 2-3 days now.
Update: showing pistols and has really started to thrive. New set of leaves every day now.

JasbadSirron Huge growth over the weekend. Looks like she’s stretching, so I guess it’s week 1 of flower.
Huge growth at the end of week 5. Well amd truely into flower now with another week of stretch to go.
Backed off on the nitrogen a little now and am hitting it with large doses of PKs and micro and trace nutes.
It’s also getting that old ash felt/Tar truck engin smell. Nice.

Hello ! Just like athos told you the best moment is after the 4th node (3rd or less for main-lining) . The supercroping is a better technique as the plant can recover faster from the stress than with a simple toping that will slow her down a bit & it will allow you to controle height better ! Hope it will help you 😁👍
After the 4th node, removing the 5th (or most of it, if you are FIMing). In my last diary I FIMed an auto. In your case, I would use supercroping if you are having height problems
Hi @JasbadSirron! I usually top autos at the 3rd node, once the 4th node has fully developed. This makes me remove a part of the plant, but recovering is faster when the lower parts has true leaves / has already developed new growth. Keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

At the moment, the light is at full spectrum, so any closer would burn.
However, you are correct for when I had it in just veg. My lights are Viparspectra 900w Reflector Series. They can be hard to manage as they are so powerful, but once you figure out how to use them properly (and the magic CalMag double dose trick), they make your plants grow so fast and strong. Worth the $300 USD per unit.

@JasbadSirron, I've got the outdoor now, to hot for me inside but have a few autos that will join in on the outdoor, will open diaries in a day or two. I got a unitfarm LED 200w running in the tent until the autos get a few nodes and can be transferred outside
