Started LST last week
plants looking good, watering while still slightly damp, installing drippers when transplanting into 12 liter pots
making sure to not overfeed plants, keeping NPK nutes at 75% so you can see slight nitrogen deficiency but could be because i started off with 50% and the plant didnt bother repairing itself.
light about 30cm away, at 33% plants are very happy with light.
August 10th:
Experienced some leaf clawing and brown spots after I added the blumats, this is most likely as I have not configured them properly. There have been a few times where I have had a LOT of runoff. Seeing that I added 20-25% soil it very well could mean the plants are being overwatered. Dialled back the blumats 2 notches and will monitor
Followed biobizz schedule at 75% and kept ph around 6 so I doubt it is that. Filled tank at 40 liters so it should last me at least a week or two before I have to rerun the nutrients. Damn these bottles go by quick! Although ive only paid like £25 for all my nutes.
Apart from that growth is very good. Have being doing a lot of LST to make sure more notes are being created. Right now Cheese 1 has a crazy amount of node development, the White widow has extremely low internodal spacing compared to the rest of the plants, whether thats a good thing or not I will soon find out.
Will soon post pictures :)))
August 11th:
Removed a couple leaves that were highly damaged or werent getting any light at all after LST. Especially on the white widow (front left) the plant is so extremely bushy and I dont like it, but maybe it can redeem itself.
august 12th:
another fucking heatwave. Got acti vera and bioheaven both at 2ml / l and some leaf coat for the heatwave. Turning lights to as low as can be. Today was 32c and i can already see heat stress on some plants.
august 20th:
should really be adding another week and pictures but im lazy lol. Switched to synthetic canna coco ab in the resevoir. Yeah i dont know how but i didnt realise drippers and organics dont mix, youve never lived life until you had to clean out 30 liters of sewage from your resevoir 🤮🤮🤮
anyway running 30 coco A and 30 coco B over 25 liters (50% normal feed @ hard water according to the canna website) and still hand watering bioheaven activera etc. every week. Plants exploded.
I turned down the drippers, I set them up so that the bottom of the plant is dry. and plants are happy I think im going to turn the blumats down 5 clicks to get runoff for a few hours and then turn it back to normal, doing that on a weekly basis.
30th august:
going to extend veg by a week because this white widow is being very annoying, incredibly bushy, isnt growing up even when im removing nodes to make it less bushy. I need the canopy 100% covered before I can flip to flower, aiming for max yield. Other plants are already overcrowding the tent so I defoliated and supercropped the top nodes to get better canopy coverage and more nodes. The northern lights has really come through in the end and has really nice node production, nodes shoot up and cover empty parts of the canopy. Too bad I dont have the space to clone anything.
canopy may look barren after the defol but my plants are hardy and healthy so they are going to 95% bounce back, worst thing ill increase veg time by a week.
cool little plant growing in my northern light pot too, wondering what its going to be.
4th september:
set the timer to flip to 12/12 today.
plants doing well, was lazy and didnt PH after nutes so I had a PH of 7.5 for the last week which has caused what seems to be zinc deficiency in some of the plants. PH'ed it down to 6 yesterday. Added a little calmag by hand watering and some of the red stems have gone away.
As you can see the defol helped a bit and because the plants are healthy it only took them a few days to recover. Now there are a few more bud sites. I counted about 30-40 in total. Really excited for this, hope I can break 200 grams with this, 300 maybe lol? but we will see.
Although the white widow is still lacking im sure it will be fine after the stretch, weird plant again which I really dont like. I think its just the pheno? Or maybe a mixup at the seed factory.
im hella lazy lmao
However I am very happy with how the canopy turned out, could fill it out a bit more if I really wanted to, but I would have to get more light and a bigger SCROG to make use of it really.
Had a flood due to a misconfigured blumat on one plant about a week ago, plants did not seem to care other than the widow and one of the cheeses which. Fixed by throwing some nitrogen solution.
overfed plants by giving them an initial flowering dosage at A & B at a light feed, later flush which quickly cured it. plants only seem to be starting potential PK deficiency.
Started adding liquid oxygen to resevoir which the plants seem to like.
temps are much better now that summer is over. Also the humidity is 57% I last checked and I assume will go down as it gets colder.
