hi all ,this is my first grow !!!!
after seeing/reading your diaries and a lot of reading, I decided to give it a go....
so about 7 days ago i popped 2 beans (my beans of chose are fat banana and purple queen by RQS) this diaries for the fat banana only
not a lot to say about my seedling at this stage
only that I started them in a easy start kit by RQS, (so easy use)
when seedling were about 6cm tall and starting to show the second leaf set transplanted to .5 ltr pots in biobizz light mix (pic on day of transplanting)
I feed them with root juice and bio-grow at 50% of recommended strength as temp are so hot...29.2 I think I may need to water twice a day .so see how my girls go with that.
please comment if you can help or you think I am killing my girls

I've resorted in bottles of ice water, around the room with its helping.
fans on high. praying heat wave stops soon.
but I must say the girl is looking ok , no sings of heat damage. please see pics
I have started week 2 of my nutrient schedule by dropping the root juice,
replacing it with bio-grow at 50% of the recommended dose
im still at 50% with the bio heaven
and she is loving it ( maybe up it a little)
If your ambient temperatures are too high, there is very little you can do. I mean if the weather is really warm and it's 28 °C (82°F), the only way to really lower the temps inside the tent will be with an AC unit. If that is not the case and the ambient temperatures are much lower than inside the tent, you need to increase the exhaust. What does help is to avoid switching the lights on during the hotter parts of the day, I myself would use lights off between 12 pm and 6 pm which is the hotter part of the day and when switching to 12/12, I would switch the lights on during the night, avoiding the day altogether. I hope that helps.

this week temps have drop to 28c with lamp on (bloody heat wave)
must say I think she looking good
I put her into her final pot 2 days ago 6ltrs (not the biggest but she's not got to be massive )
feed half % nutrients for the first water in her new home.
I will then be upping the nutrients, too 2ml bio-grow,2ml bio-heaven and adding 1ml alg-a-mic
I let her settle in her new home for 2days then top her from 6 nodes to 4
I will let all bottom nodes grow so can try cloning for the first time..

wow i think she is growing ok.
temps are good now the heat wave is gone
this week i trained her with some LSTing after reading and looking on here(gd) for help
I am going for 6 main stems.
the defoliation material i used for some clones
will keep the nutrients the same now tell flip.
I am thinking maybe 2 more weeks veg (see how she gose with that)

hi all she looking good .... so i put her in the flower this week 12/12 after 24hours of lights off.

nutrients up a little and bio bloom and topmax added to the mix.

@new420grower,here are my thought on pot size 3G perfect for some Auto 5G perfect for Auto and Phototperiod whit not to much veg time like 4 to 6 weeks 7G good for photopériode whit long veg 8 to 12 weeks and finally 10G for the big Mamas
Hi there ! I'm afraid that you can't really do anything simple ! You'r using 250w of fluo light that's mean your light is not one of the most heat provider ! If you'r already using a fan the only way to loose heat is to use a AC unit in the same room as your box ! Or a simple way to low temps is to run your box at nightime beceause temps are already lowers . Hope it will help
@OutForReal, cheers for commenting...that's what I thought. I always run my light at night just this heat wave is killing it. temp @31.5c and humi @46 @)04.30am... looks like in going to look at ac unit tomorrow..cheers again
