I'm trying DWC for the first time with this Gary Payton cut. I'm using a 5 gal @newlevelhydroponics system with @floraflex2 nutrients! I will say I'm very nervous, but excited to try something new.

Being my first try at DWC, I'm not surprised I'm havIng PH issues. To solve this, I'm setting up a reservoir to let the nutrients and ph settle 2 days before water change.
Lights are at 50% at 30 inches for the first week. I'm seeing a little clawing, but that nay be a little shock from going in the DWC. I'll keep an eye on her. The next day. I saw some browning in a leaf. I saw the roots weren't hitting the water yet, so I put in a little water to make sure the bottom of the cup was getting wet and pinched the damaged leaf off.
Just getting back to you here as I said I would... my friend is stumped... suggested mosaic virus which, after discussion, we BOTH ruled out... all he can think of is that you may have splashed something on the leaves ... He also said your pH is just fine ... and that if it was HIS grow, he'd snip the leaf off and forget about it.

Good luck with your growing. Those Gary payton looking real nice. Im also growing RDWC and DWC too, and im using Flora Flex as fertilizer also. Can’t wait to see the final week 👍🏻
