Germination
Germinated by placing the seed in a glass of water. After 6 hours it sank Added compost to a paper pot, placed see at around 8mm deep and covered up loosely with compost. Paper pot then placed in a propagator. Propagator placed in a drip tray with a bed of gravel to form a bed of water without saturating the soil. Propagator placed outside in dappled shade. Will transfer to the indoor grow space once the seed pops out (fingers crossed)

Getting better, making up for earlier mistakes such as over watering, what a plonker. Using bluemat clay cones for watering and sensi grow for nutrients. 4ml/l of both A and B. Smaller plant germinated about 5 days later hence it's smaller!

All going okay, a small amount of burn from the lamp, move it away but I'm not too concerned. I trimmed the bottom leaves from both plants. The smaller one is only just flowering so have left it on veg nutrients.

Switched, what was the smaller plant, over to flower nutrients. It is now larger than its sibling which suggests I switched the previously larger plant over too early. Oops. I have a spider farmer 70x70x160cm grow tent, with the plants now being 75cm I think the tent can't really acconmodate taller plants, also next time I'll grow one plant only as I think more than one restricts too much light and thus yield.

Well, what an idiot. I have a water softener and the last weeks water was all softened. The result was some brown spots on the leaves and a few leaf casualties. I flushed out the pots and replaced the water that was supplying my blumat auto waterers. Not great timing but at least I noticed the spots. It might not be calcium, but it would be a big coincidence if it wasn't.

Flushed again, still getting brown spots. Possibly a remnant of the soft water I used but thought best to flush again. Buds don't look ready at all but I really don't know what I'm doing!

I'm at the end of week nine and the pistils are browning. It could be light stress or it could be the buds are reaching their time. The problem is the buds look tiny/non existent, perhaps because I don't know what I'm looking for and I can't see the wood for the leaves?

You still have 3-4 weeks to go..........when there are 95-99% brown pistils, this is your harvest window.

Leaves browning at a rate of knots. Not sure what to do, ph is good, and nutrients as per the instructions. The pots took an age to dry out after the preventative flush (this time in pH balanced water). They took about 4-5 days to start to pull water from the blumats 😓

Really gutted about my calcium deficiency. Plants look terrible and I've definitely learnt my lesson. If you see a brown spot act, don't wait, as once the spot has appeared there is a major lag between adding calcium and stopping the slow death of the plant cells.

One plant isn't taking as much water as usual. Not sure whether to harvest, trichomes are milky white with a few brown ones but finding it hard to hold the camera and get it focussed.

Hi, another harvest question! 12the week of growth. Some buds have, say 10% amber trichomes, others all milky. I'm keen to get the plant out of the grow tent as it is blocking the better yielding plant. Should I harvest or wait a little longer?

Easy to grow, well it was for me. Sensi seeds advised this for a first grow and it didn't disappoint. 8 more seeds to go.

Considering my mess ups a great result. This plant grew slower than the other, but ended up bigger in the end. 101g of good dry buds that vape very well. I'm very happy with the result and thanks to sensi seeds for the realiabilty in the face of a novice grower.
