Been Growing this for about a year now. Of the two phenotypes from the 6 or so seeds I have grown this Pheno is my Fav, so im going to share this diary. I will also start a Kiwi 100% Organic Outdoor grow with this in the next few weeks also. I chose this pheno because not only do I love the flavour and medicinal value I really enjoy its manageability, as opposed to the greener pheno that throws more grape terpenes (Bubba Kush genetics) which is lovely...this pheno produces a bud that is real silvery white after curing and have a truely unbelievable greasy dank fuely fruity palate and unlike the greener Pheno this doesn't have all the branches...let me tell you that green pheno when done outside or in a big room would be really something but with the minimum capacity I have I find the crazy amount of pruning and thinning required is not worth the hassle for me. But this one, this is a real sweety, reasonably compact and manageable..a personal favourite. I hope you enjoy following this grow with me.

Had to get this trained before it got out of control, in 3-5 weeks it should be where I need it to put into flowering. My veg room is a little cramped with the upcoming outdoor seasons clones so she doesn't get as much light as she could currently. However this LST should sort it out nicely and im beginning to move larger clones outside ( a bit early but they are protected and the weather is currently warm and sunny) which should free up some light and space for her to excel. A bit disappointed they have discontinued this strain...however im going to endeavour to breed with a couple of my own unique Kiwi strains and hopefully retain that greasy grape terpene profile of this phenotype that I love so much.

So just five days after posting the second week of vegetation this beauty is already ready for the flowering. So here we go..week one flowering! You can see there is a little nutrient burn..this often happens when premixing dry Fert into you soil before planting..can be some salty pockets..if you get it right it will overcome quite quickly as you can see here its really a non issue. Lets go flowering cycle!

As mentioned last week that little bit of Nute burn was totally insignificant and a byproduct of the struggle for homeostasis between temp, light, nutes, moisture, humidity etc etc and when you only premix for veg and top dress once for flowering...its quite a process to get it right. Thankfully Cannabis evolved from soil and doesn't take too much convincing to come to the party if you get the fundamentals right.

After the burn she suffered after transplant she has recovered extremely well. If I could offer advice at this stage I would say to newbie growers dont panic so much when you see a little leaf damage leaves are sensitive, leaves can also be replaced in a week, so long as systemically the plant is healthy and its needs are being provided for it will recover from a few bumps in the road. Dont be so quick to overcorrect little mistakes..this is where new growers can get tangled. This is my fav CBD 1:1 strain and look forward to sharing the rest of its progress with you. Sticky Buds! Day 15 flowering , Defoliation required. Please note the last photo of previously recorded nute burnt leaves...notice now that those leaves have recovered well and have contributed to the function and overall health of the plant. My advice again...please dont panic with a little damage early on in a plants life, have patience, dont try to fix with fertiliser...and you see what can happen.

What can I say that I haven't been repeating a lot of late in my diaries TOO MUCH COLD. It is what it is...but ill hand it to this Pheno..its growing slowly but hasn't been as effected by the 6 degree Celsius nights...so I will give her that. This is a new seed as I needed to replace my old Kush "N" Cookies 1:1 so even though im recognising traits from the last batch I cant be sure what this one is going to do. Stay tuned for warmer weather and actual bud growth over the weeks to come. Sticky buds everyone!

Nine days after my last update and as you can see a lot has happened. Even though it took 3weeks in flowering to do ANYTHING remotely like flowering this bloom eruption puts her on track for 55-65 daze total time in 12-12. Some good trichomes beginning to form. Defoliation is going to be an issue still for the next few week so im taking all the shade leaves that grow inwards off and leaving the ones that face outward to form what I call a feeding fan of solar panels..this also prevents stunting by removing to many leaves.

Doing extremely well now the weather has warmed the nutrients are being circulated efficiently and its bud swelling time. I agree this strain is a bushy bitch to control..but with a little knowhow it will produce relatively good yields of better than average smoke with the advantage of the entourage effect from the huge amounts of CBD. I do not agree, from my experience the GoG genetics are bad. Gun to head I would put it down to inexperienced growers. But that have only grown a few strains from them so I cant vouch for all of them. All I know is Kush "N" Cookies CBD 1:1 from Garden of Green is a valuable tool in my suite of marijuana based medications.
