Humidity has spiked a bit as well. It has been raining a lot and the windows are usually open so once it passes it might come down a bit. I've introduced a bit of Calmag to the feed after recommendation from @Fauna so maybe the tangerine will fatten up a bit before harvest. Techniques Used: Defoliation Comments: I removed some more leaves today that were obstructing light from getting to the bud sites. The trichomes at the top especially are beginning to cloud and about a third of the pistils have turned orange. Slight contact with the plant while I was cutting leaves off left very sticky residue on my skin and smells very pungent. The end is almost near, this will be the last week of feed. The flush forecast for the beginning of week 9, exactly in line with the breeder's information for this strain. Techniques Used: None Comments: So an update regarding the smell situation: it's pretty much contained. The EC fan and carbon filter are really doing the job nicely. For context, my grow unit is situated in the en-suite to my bedroom. Before I could smell it when stepping into the house, now as I type this in my bedroom I cannot smell it at all. Yet in the week that I improved the set up for this, the tangerine smell has just got stronger and stronger but remains contained. Silicon sealed to reduce noise and smell transmission. The unit is stealth disguised as a towel cupboard and located in an en-suite shower room which is kept clean and dry to prevent mould and higher humidity readings. Grows are suspended using chains to make the most of a narrow but tall vertical space with "S" hooks to hold the air pots. Internal dimensions are Width 520mm x Depth 300mm x Height 2000mm when completely empty (or Height 1600mm when subtracting the space used by the light).
