Glass o water until sink, then wet paper towel in a zip lock until sprout. After sprout to soil and Autopot self watering system. This system will bottom feed the plants through a tray. The roots are blocked from growing into the water tray by using a fabric sock over the bottom of the pot of dirt. This chemically prunes the roots so the do not grow through your pot.
Fed Maxigro and SLF100 from week 1 of growth through just before these shots. Then I "set" the buds using Jacks Ultraviolet. I use maxigro because it is complete and it is very cheap. It has only 14 nitrogen and my Fox Farms Light Warrior soil has 10 nitrogen, so together I get 24 nitrogen to the plant through the short veg period. This is all the nitrogen needed.
Things are moving along. These are tightly packed plants, wanting to remain squat. There was very little flower stretch. This was probably helped by the bud setting step with the Jacks Ultraviolet 5-50-18 at the preflower, run through the rez to the plants for a couple weeks. Then I switched to the 10-30-20 blend for the remainder of this grow.
Loved the smoke from these plants. The high was very euphoric and initiated very deep thoughts. Definitely a working buzz that you can handle through the day. Tastes and notes of vanilla and caramel, but mostly cigar shop smell reminders when smoking. Like smoking a fine aged tobacco almost. Would definitely grow again. I will note this strain had very similar flavors to Haze XL of the same breeder, i49, but the bud structures and plant structures were totally different. I believe there may be a common ancestor here in that breeding program?
