This is my first grow in this custom built cupboard so will be experimenting as i go. I have completely sealed off a cupboard/box and lined it with reflective materials. I have 2 Lights going, one Cree Led and one basic purple grow led. Has also had a 150mm Inline fan put in for exhaust, which is sucking air through nicely. This box is about 29 cubic feet of space or just under 1 cubic mtr.
Have put both seeds into a moist paper towel, then ziplocked in a bag and in the hot water cupboard to help with Germination. 25/08 (Will update as the week goes on)
Pulled seeds out to check on progress with sprouting after one night. The LSD seed has split and the beautiful little baby is beginning to emerge. The Grandmommy Purple is yet to split but fingers crossed for tomorrow. Today i also filled my 2 seed pots with CANNA TERRA PROFESSIONAL soil, i soaked that soil with water and let drain for 10 minutes. Now have put both pots in the hot water cupboard to warm up in preparation for the sprouts. 26/08
Opened the hot water cupboard first thing in the morning to check the seeds. The LSD sprout had gone from just peaking out to about 8mm over night so i decided to plant her into the warm seed pot. The Grandmommy purple has split and her sprout was visible but i decided to leave her in the paper towel for an extra twelve hours to establish the sprout more. Then she was planted the same as the other. Both were put straight into makeshift grow cupboard. 21 degrees Celsius and 55% humidity in the cupboard rough average. 27/08
Nothing much to report on today. Seeds are in the grow cupboard in their pots so now its a waiting game! 20 degrees Celsius and 60% humidity roughly over the day 28/08
12pm today i opened the grow space to find the LSD has emerged through the substrate as a healthy seedling (I have added photos). The Grandmommy Purple hasn't quite come through but i can see her, so i expect she will be out in the morning. Temperature has been at about 22 degrees Celsius today and 50% Humidity. 29/08
Today the Grandmommy Purple came through but i am worried she may be a little stunted, appears to have deformed first leaves. 30/08
UPDATE: I'm flagging the Grandmommy Purple and am going to focus on the LSD Seedling. I will leave the current stuff i have up about GMP but will not be updating information about her from now on.
This week like last week will be updated as it goes on.
I haven't done anything in particular with the seedlings so far, just letting them do their thing under the lights which are on a 18/6 on off cycle.
The Temp and humidity has been sitting similar with last week roughly 22 degrees Celsius with 55% humidity. From my observations so far I'm thinking that the Grandmommy Purple might be a loss but i will leave her in the cupboard in case a miracle happens. The seedling has been up for 3 days at the end of today and she doesn't show any signs of shooting out her first 2 leaves. 1/09
UPDATE: I will not continue the Grandmommy Purple on this diary as its a write off. The info thats been put up so far will stay but from now on i will be focusing my grow on the LSD seedling.
Just a usual day today, Temperature and Humidity are sitting around average and the LSD seedlings doing its thing. Have added some photos for the day. 2/09
Nothing much to update, growing slowly and surely. The Temperature and Humidity are sitting about the same although I got up to 24 degrees today so will hurry up and get my oscillating fan in there. 4/09
I have been letting my baby just do her thing and grow. The temperature has been slightly warmer the last few days and humidity is up but that is not a problem at this stage. I'm back at full time work so will have to try my best to update this diary when i can but don't worry! I haven't forgotten. I have been watering her once every few days just letting the water slightly drip out the bottom of the pot to gauge whens enough. I have added an update photo of the size. 6/09
Coming to the end of last week i just let my baby do her thing and on the 7/09 i mixed up a Flairform nutrient mix as listed above to give my seedling a little boost to help establish her roots and growth. I used this mixture as i would use water on her and let a little trickle out the bottom of the pot to know when was enough. She handled this mix fine and i haven't noticed any stress. I have uploaded an update photo for size. Humidity and temperature has fluctuated small amounts but nothing out of the ordinary 8/09
Today i noticed that her first leaves are slightly scalloped or wavy but it doesn't look to be anything to worrying or sinister at this stage. Her new leaves are growing now and they appear very healthy. I will keep an eye on this though to make sure it is all i think it is. Humidity and temperature is per usual and i have a large desk fan on the very lowest setting blowing on the wall to help create air movement and strengthen the seedlings stem. I checked in on the baby today to make sure the scalloping of the leaves isn't anything to major. In my opinion i think its simply the first leaves and sometimes they can be a little funny. The next growth that is coming up looks perfectly healthy. The humidity and temperature today has been as per usual but that evening i also noticed she had little beads of dew... or juice 😉 lovely little sight so i decided to snap a couple of magnified photos. 10/09
I've been planning this for a while but today i finally got round to it and created myself some more height in the cupboard. I have cut a big washing flexi bin down and set it into the floor of my cupboard, this will allow me to sit my 7 gallon fabric pot down into it basically making the floor level of the cupboard the start of my plant. Less wasted space is good, and I'm thinking this will give me that little bit extra play room from my lights. I have uploaded photos of my upgrade and an update of the LSD Baby. I have uploaded a photo of the cupboard set up but I'm waiting on a 6 inch oscillating fan to arrive 11/09
Nothing much to update today, temp and humidity seems to be at a stable level so will stop commenting on those details unless it changes. The baby is looking healthy and steadily growing, nice short and stocky! 12/09
My 7 gallon fabric pot is due to arrive tomorrow so today i made up another Flairform nutrient mix, this time with the added SilikaMajik. I gave her a good watering with that mix and will decide tomorrow whether i re-pot her then or wait a day extra. There's 1 or 2 roots showing at the base of the pot so it's ready anytime from now. I have uploaded progress photos for today and will begin the new week of growing tomorrow. Wahoo! 13/09
YEEEEEEAAAH BOOOOOI, my fabric pot arrived as i expected so i re-potted my baby about 8pm tonight, i used the same CANNA TERRA PRO Soil as before to fill the fabric pot (Soaked it in water then let to drain) and the transplant went smoothly. A video and photo have been uploaded showing it in its forever pot, and i also installed a proper oscillating fan. 14/09
Checked in on the baby this afternoon and looks like shes handled the re-potting just fine which is great news! Everything else is as per usual so will just throw some update photos on. 15/09
Today I checked in on the baby as usual and everything's looking great, she grew a noticeable difference although that's hard to tell in the photos. I gave her a good watering so the humidity came up to 70% for a short time but that's nothing to worry about. Temperature sat around 22 degrees Celsius all day. Once again the LSD baby grew a nice amount over the day and is looking stout and healthy. The stem is already hardening off and very thick for its short size so i decided to begin to pull her over using LST as i will need to focus on keeping my plant growing low and across due to the space available in my cupboard. Everything went well during the LST so i have put photos up showing what i have done. Temp and humidity is usual. 17/09
Today after work i decided to finally get the mylar roll out and patch the ends of my cupboard as it was pretty rough with tinfoil. I cut out cardboard walls to shape of the existing ends and then lined the edges with carpet tape. I had someone help hold one side and we just placed it down swiftly flat onto the card. This mostly pulled it tight but its not perfect. Other than that, everything's going as per usual and i've uploaded some update photos 18/09
Nothing much to update today, everything's looking good. The weathers been pretty shit so the humidity is up but thats not a worry right now and summer coming up will eliminate that problem. Have updated a couple of photos, basically the plan is to train the plant along the cupboard as low as possible before tipping. This way i can utilize the short spaced cupboard. 19/09
Updated the photos! Everything's looking good, the temperature that is showing is the evening temperature 'which is affected slightly as the cupboard is in a garage. A little low but will only get better as spring comes in. 20/09
Not so much a problem but being this is my first indoor grow i'm curious as to why my first set of leaves that grew off my LSD Seedling have gone scallopy/wavy, yet the rest look fine? Should i worry or is this just normal.
This is pretty common, believe it or not. Especially with feminized seeds.
It will start throwing normal leaves soon enough.

Updates for both the 21st and 22nd of September, i am still trying to update daily.
Everythings going great and i'm continuing to just slowly wire the plant over as she grows. I'm quite impressed with the thickness and strength of the stem on this little plant. Almost too strong to train even on the fresh growth but i won't complain! Other than that i'm continuing to fertilize and water every other day. I will be flushing her sometime this week as i don't want to let the salts in the nutrients build up in my soil.
Photos have been updated, the weather has fined up now so humidity is back down which is great. 23/09
I have been away for a few days travelling but gave her a good feed before I left. Well I’m stoked as I’ve come home to some good looking growth, and I’ve updated photos to suit. 27/09
This week I managed to grab some adjustable light hangers so have hooked them too my lights which has allowed me to drop my plant right down into the barrel, which will be her final resting place. I then brought the lights down and across slightly so the plants getting better light, I’m still yet to get a lux meter but I believe she’s getting sufficient light. I once again gently tied down the new growth/top of the plant as I have been to train her along the floor of the cupboard. I will get some photos first thing in the morning to show progress! 28/09
Great veg growth the last couple of days and the nitrogen rich leaves haven’t gotten any worse, after I flushed my fabric pot with 4 litres of fresh water. The plant didn’t seem to have been effected anyway.
I have had to tie down fan leaves as they are big and in the way of the first growth of colas, am wondering… can I prune a few fan leaves off at this age to open it up to the light? 30/09
After a couple days of just letting her do her thing after I flushed her again on the 30th of September, she seems to be doing well. I also lifted the lights up as I believe they could be contributing to the extremely stout structure. The colas have begun to grow through so I’m training everything flat as it goes. I’m about 5 weeks into veg of my LSD plant in my indoor cupboard. I’ve just been looking at other LSD grows and I’m worried mine seems awfully small compared to others. It’s leaves are huge and the stems are thick but it’s very short and stocky. Do I need more light or not worry?

She does look small and could just be genetics or overfed and abit unhappy ..
But she looks rich in nitrogen so cut the feed abit and give her a flush,
