I soaked these in a glass of tap water for 18 hours then placed them in a damp paper towel inside a plate. This was kept in a dark closet. Seeds were ready to plant after 1 day.
After planting the sprouted seeds in small peat pots, they were transplanted, inside the peat pot, into 5 gallon buckets. The buckets have holes drilled in the side and bottom for drainage and ventilation. The bottom 3 inches of the buckets have pine nugget mulch, and the remainder is Coast of Maine Stonington Blend. Yes, I named my plants.
I’d call this week the preflower phase. The girls really started to stretch out and put on some nice vegetation. With this being my first grow, I didn’t really do the LST as well as I could have. Otherwise, everything went well.
