Week 2 of flower. We've culled some of the weaker plants from each section. Removed the underneath foilage. Today's task is to remove fan leaves from the main stems and inside/out the plants (bring the taller plants to the outside and the shorter ones directly beneath the light). This helps even out the canopy over time. We also culled some males from the Ghani AF section (the only section grown from regular seed). Notably there are far less than 50% males but...sample size!
Later this week we will do another round of culling. Anything with weird structure, abnormalities or weak growth will be eliminated. That should give us some room to space out the plants a bit better.
Early days yet but there are some plants in here worth keeping an eye on. As we begin to reduce numbers, we will post some individual plant pictures of the most likely keepers from this round. And say a bit more about our process. Right now we remain in the stage of the hunt where our main focus is on how well the plant grows and whether it has a structure that we'd like to work with either from a production or a breeding standpoint. Next stage will be more about flower growth, size, look, smell and trichome coverage.
