The leaves can curl down because it got a cold draft . Or root lock , I have never heard of it getting too much nitrogen, nitrogen causes the tips to go yellow ... Especially because you have two plants you said that had the same nutrients I would almost eliminate the nutrition problem out of the equation because if they're both have the same nutrition and only one of them is getting an issue usually that would mean something other than what you're feeding it would be usually an environmental problem.
