First germination, I didn't have tool to measure moisture at the moment, so sprinked the water on walls
It took 2-3 days for plant to germinate, after that I put them to the rooting sponge, which itself was in the rockwool cube
Initially, it had 3 days of 24 h light and stale temperature of 26C and were very close to LED, around 40 cm
After that I changed it's day schedule to 20/4, and moved LED as far as possible, around 90 cm I guess
It had 6000 lux this week, which converts to around 7 DLI
Black Opium Fast grows faster and better than two other plants of other strains, germinated with it at the same day
Nothing to comment here, seems very healthy and good
8000-9000 lux or 9-10 DLI
Increasing DLI each day by 1-2k lux, should achieve 20 DLI to the end of week
Transplanted to the 10l pot, seems it went ok for the plant however a lot of mistakes was made...
Added new fertilizers for roots growth and plant health
Hello everyone, after the night I noticed that there are a lot of new roots trying to grow from stem. I know this is ok, but I wonder can I add some soil on top of the existing to help develop these roots? Won't it cause stem rot? I want to fill the space in my pot
Usually cannabis grown from seeds don't rot from stem like tomato or other veggies, but cannabis clones yes. You can add some soil (1-2 cm every few days) under cotyledons, she will be fine.
But it's not necessary :)
So at this week I started LST on plant, day after that I tried to FIM it, but it seems like I failed and topped instead.. We'll see how it goes, plant seems to be very strong and don't have stress at all
Time from time I cut the leaves that shadow new growths
Plant don't really notice the cat attack, but started to requre more nutrients, which I was scared to provide, because didn't have ways to check PH to see if it's nutrient burn.
Signs - dying and yellowing of some bottom leaves.
Opium seems to recover very fast from any manipulations - I started from fimming, then topped, cutting leaves as well.. Doesn't care
Only shows some nutrient deficiencies signs, so I give him 4ml/l every nutrient watering and 1ml/l every watering. Wel'l see how it goes.
It has a huge wide leaves which requres to cut it a lot.
Also, I grow it in a tent with autoflowers, so It vegs under Infra-red light this week and further. It's stems should be longer than usual because of this.
There was another cat terrorist attack who bited like 10 leaves. The plant doesn't care, but visually gets worse after each attack
So there were a frequent light turn offs and I had to simulate light with phone's flashlight
Because this happened a multiple times the plant should've stressed a bit, and I also started scrogging a bit late.
It didn't flower but didn't grow without proper light.
