Big Devil XXL microcultivo

alvaroGraciaL So far, the only thing they've done is that I put them in the cabinet today. They germinated 4 days after I put them in the pre-moistened substrate. After 3 days since they came out, they've stretched quite a bit, so I put them in the cabinet for 20/24h at 40W of power. I haven't watered them until today. I moistened the substrate to about 80% (by eye), and since they're in a fabric pot, I hope that helps them develop a taproot quickly.

alvaroGraciaL The little ones are now a week older and everything is still pretty much the same. One of them has some deformity in the leaves. It must be an inherent characteristic of the strain, as the previous ones I planted had the same feature. I also showed my little sacred cacti, the big ones are almost 1 year old and the small ones are 2 or 3 months. Echinopsis pachanoi and lophophora Williamsii. Watering once every 4 or 5 days with tap water, lowering the pH to about 6 with citric acid.

alvaroGraciaL First os all, sorry cause I didn't photograph plants before I did LST them. They have started preflowering with that little size. I do still expect them to stretch up to 2 or 3 times their actual size. They have kept little probably cause I have not been controlling PH properly but adding a little citric acid (without measuring final PH). I'm also using a 3rd generation recycled substrate with a mix of sand, homemade wormcastings, perlite, vermiculite and a bit of bat guano. I'm also not controlling humidity, wich has been at around 40% (low for vegetative stage). I have also not watered enough due to work travels. So after all, they are growing great for the conditions on which they have been. ----------- I have done a hard LST on both looking for a kind of SCROG effect on my tiny 40x50 wardrobe. There are photos of already done LST and 10 hours later. During the process I broke a back branch, a pity but not a real problem. Node distance is also too small as I left the light a bit too close, so I have now separated it a bit so buds will grow a bit more spaced. ------- In conclusion, unaware growth, good looking plants.

alvaroGraciaL It has grown a lot in the last week. I think they're going to stay a bit small, but they fit well in the size of my closet.

alvaroGraciaL Nice growing. One of the 2 plants is showing a mutation which gives leaves two tones of green. That one also has really thick white hairs. The other one shows more conventional characteristics. Basic feeding, not much to say.

alvaroGraciaL The tying and defoliation work is done. The little ones have reached their final size, and from now on, they just need to bulk up. Two distinct phenotypes: The first one has the thickest pistils I've ever seen, shows mottling on the leaves, the edges of the leaves are starting to take on purple colors, the apical bud is deformed (I can't remember the name, it's horizontal), shows a slightly faster growth, and has less smell. The second phenotype has branched out a bit more, has more normal pistils, has a stronger smell (mainly diesel), and is a week behind compared to its sister. Basic nutrition, with Top Auto and Top Candy. Next week, I'll add a bit of PK.

alvaroGraciaL The buds are developing wonderfully, especially the one with some deformities. I’ve been negligent the past few weeks for not adding some nitrogen fertilizer. Since I used recycled substrate, there isn’t enough in the substrate, and my plants have turned a bit yellow. I’m adding a little Top Veg so they can finish flowering with the proper development. I incorporated PK from Plagron into the diet to give a boost to trichome production, which is spectacular so far. I estimate they have 3-4 weeks of intense fattening left.

alvaroGraciaL Last week I didn't have time to post an update. I watered with 2 ml/l of PK from Plagron in week 9, and that was their last fertilization. The plant is entering its final stretch, showing quite advanced deficiencies in several nutrients, which is how I like them to be at harvest time. One of the plants has at least 2 or 3 days left, and the other 7 or 8, so I'll find a middle ground and probably cut them on Thursday. It still has clear trichomes; I would like to leave them for another week, but its roommate is gaining ground.

alvaroGraciaL I was surprised by how incredibly resinous this plant is. The care I gave it during its growth period wasn't the best, and it didn't reach the size it should have. Nevertheless, the buds are dense, tight, very resinous, and have a very intense, delicious smell. Since it was small, one of them showed some strange behaviors, deformities in the leaves. During flowering, the buds of this one have also grown unusually, with a tip of horizontal structure. The mutant matured slightly earlier and had overall less growth, with a more pronounced central bud, thicker stems, and smaller side buds. The smell of this one leans more towards diesel. Out of the 4 seeds in the pack, two showed this phenotype and the other two had a more conventional hybrid structure. Happy with the variety, even the plants with the "weird" phenotype have resulted in buds of excellent quality, although they are slightly lower producers.
