Planted on August 31st
popped on the third of September
This should be a fun one!
It looks like the best and fastest growing seedling in my chamber. I've got high hopes for this lil one.
September 10th:
She's growing the best out of all the other seedlings, still.
Nice chonky leaves and a healthy dark color.
No mutations to mention so far.
Transplanted her out of her cell and into a bigger pot. It will definitely need transplanted again by next week.
September 24th:
Up-potted yesterday into a bigger temporary container because of how fast it's growing. It looks great and is keeping up with a very explosive godfather OG seedling I've been growing, as well.
She's moving along quite well for only being a few weeks old. I think I'll be able to start LST by the time next week rolls around.
October 1st:
Officially a month old and not doing too shabby. Up-potted her yesterday and sampled one of the sisters.
It had only been curing for 10 days, but it tossed out some super frosty nugs with a beautiful structure. I'm excited to see if this will be as good.
October 8th:
She's growing decent. Not on the top of the charts for any one thing, but definitely not at the bottom of those charts either. She isn't the tallest, doesn't have the most branches or the biggest stalk, but she's happy and growing.
I'm going to top her sometime this week and turn the top into a clone. Then, bud the clone to see if I like it as a potential mother.
October 17th:
Did a little defoliation to get more light to it's sorry looking lateral branches. I don't know why, but this and the godfather OGs don't really want to grow out their lateral branches. Could be a trait for the two genomes. Could be Males, maybe?
It's starting to develop what sex it is, but it's not far enough along to make a good guess or be certain.
October 24th:
Did some defoliating and a little LST.
Gotta take a clone to see if it's good enough to be a mother plant. If not, I'm going to flower it after another seed pops, just in case.
November 9th:
I did a heavy defoliation on her before I became predisposed, as well as put her in the bloom room.
Well, her she is after those things happened and around 9 days in flower. She's shooting a lot of hairs and starting to stretch. I really need to transplant her into a bigger pot. At least 8 gallons, I'm thinking.
November 26th:
She's got nice nugs, but starting to accumulate aphids. I have ladybugs on the way and I'm sure they'll smash this aphid problem.
Other than that, she's not showing signs of stress. No discoloration, no stunting of growth, nothing like that.
December 3rd:
She had a day where the temperature of the room got up into the mid-80s(°F), so she got a little dried out. But! She's doing just fine and only a couple noticable remnants of that heat stress.
She smells delicious. Like, grapey, fruity, candy. I hope I don't regret not taking a clone to back it up...
December 10th:
Welp, kinda busted up the cola stalk by lifting the pot too fast and ramming the top of the plant into the lightboard above it.
Oops. She'll be fine.
Going to add more photos tomorrow.
The grow cycle isn't an ideal in to me, more of a test run to see how well the bloom room can hold an environment, as well as what it's natural environment would be with all the lights and gear sealed in the room. All in all, it's a great foundation to build on.
Anyway.
I did little training at all, really. Just let her grow. She didn't get big, but that's due to the small pot, I'm guessing.
