@JamMAKEcan, Hey there thanks for stopping by! No really! Yes its where it all starts..an idea..some pollen.. a cue tip/small paint brush and an evil glint in the eye...presto new genetics. They dont all work though..some fail miserably..for some reason some strains dont like to be mixed. But it is always an adventure trying to get it right. Ive been at this for a long time and I only have two strains that are truly mine that im anywhere near close to happy with and why im only showing GD those two lol (Kiwi Kush and Fruity LoopZ) ive bred some 30 varieties some I lost from being a fucking amateur (burning regret) but most just didn't bring to the table what I thought they would..its hit and miss thats for sure and thats why I respect the big players in the game. Although they have money and legal status on their side..its still not easy to do. To create a truly unique strain...I try to take it a bit further by only sticking to the strains that have natural immunity to the rigours of life outdoors in New Zealand with the final goal of having a selection of truly New Zealand strains that we as a small country can be proud of. Legally its all still muddy bullshit but as im a medical user they cant prosecute so im allowed a sliver of legal wiggle room with which I wiggle as much as I possibly can haha. @@Alchemy_Aotearoa,.. Wow yes i understand its time consuming that's why i dont mess it that...but you should try seed banks that sells regular seeds. They sell male and female in same bag.. Those are as original as u can find.. Not auto and not feminized. Just regular.. Example. Gorilla glue u get a female.. Its gorilla glue virgin buds... Unlike a fem. Or auto that has been crossed

@JamMAKEcan, Yes this is also a great strategy for getting new strains, trouble is and im sure you will find this too that the best genetics are locked up behind vaulted doors and released ONLY as Feminized...that way they retain their amazing genetics. Which lets be honest is good play from a business perspective. So ive found it a little trickier to source the best pollen for these reason. Thankfully now I have my own pollen with which to work with so its no longer the issue it was. Great chat and good ideas! Sticky buds @JamMAKEcan
