@gottagrowsometime,thank you it actually seems to have worked great. Also germinating right in soil was much quicker than expected.

Girls popped out of the substrate on the 4 day. Substrate germination worked just as well if not better than paper towel method. Gave a bit more water maybe 1 cup each
