This is this first entry into my chapter of the OgreBerry Chronicles. First off, thank you to 20twenty Mendocino for selecting my to grow the OgreBerry 3A test strain. I will be documenting these to the best of my ability with hopefully a seed to harvest video posted once complete. Had a bit of a delay getting my chapter going but after the business of summer, ready to dedicate what I can to this. With that being said, here goes. So I started by soaking the largest 2 out of 5 seeds of the bunch in a glass of water and then straight to soil. First one popped with no issues, second stayed stuck in the shell an extra day or two and looks to have kept her a little behind her sister. Thought I was going to lose it so I germinated another but with the pit stop in the paper towel. Will try to keep all three going strong since they germinated. So far, 100% germination rate. Pics of third will be coming once she sprouts. Not sure if I’ll experiment too much with the three(like topping or list), if one gets it, they mall get the same treatment. Stay tuned, Growmies…
What do you guys think? Shall I pull them? 1/3 just stopped growing so I already pulled it. These are the other two. My Zkittlez, which is about 1.5 weeks younger, has clearly surpassed these given the exact same environment, possibly tripling these in size. Anyone think they’ll turn around or just give ‘em the toss? Hope others have had better luck with these phenos but this strain doesn’t look very promising so far. 😢 Was way too excited to try this strain. Haha.
They’re trying for it. Smell distinctly different, oddly enough. Once the smells start to round out more, I’ll try to give a description. One seems to be growing uniformly and symmetrical, while the other is developing a bit of tree from Lorax vibes. 🤷♂️🏼Oh well, let it grow, let it grow, let it grow…
They’ve pulled through and grown up quite a bit. I have more pictures I will use to fill the gaps, but due to the stunting, I believe this strain could really benefit from some training and almost perfect seedling environment will be needed. Once that happens, clearly a resilient strain that will really stretch once she starts showing her pistils. These won’t be big producers but quality over quantity, right? Pretty excited too see how these girls turn out now.
