D33Rdog The W.C. OG is not growing tall at the pace I would like and hoped for but she is putting on some girth and looks to be happy and healthy. I usually kill anything that doesn’t make a certain size by a certain day but my gut told me to leave her so I’ll let her go for a couple more weeks and if she stays scrawny she’s got to go! That being said I’ve still got faith that she will turn out big and strong! D33Rdog The West Coast OG isn’t growing big and tall as of right now but she sure is starting to grow thick and sturdy. Yesterday she showed her sex so I’d imagine she will really start to grow rapidly here soon. Topdressed with Gaia Green A.P., P.B., B.R.D. & Worm Castings. I did go ahead and remove the bottom fans leaves and bottom branches because she looks healthy. D33Rdog The West Coast O.G. has been growing steadily. She is strong and sturdy and appears that she is going to grow into a compact little bush. I’m training her lowest branches and lower fan leaves because her mid branches are so strong I’m scared to put pressure on them. Around the same day she showed her sex I noticed that her new leaves were growing in a different shape but stayed green and never missed a beat so I didn’t lose any sleep over it. D33Rdog West Coast OG is now in the phase of growing rapidly and sucking water down like a sink drain!!!! I was questionable about her at week 3 as she wasn’t growing very fast but I’m slowly falling in love with her now. She has handled all the LST well and I have tormented her by pulling leaves, lollipopping and adjusting ties daily. She just takes it and keeps on growing!!! she has spent more energy on her structure more so than her height and is sturdy as I’ve ever seen from a plant not even 1.5 foot tall. Tough!!!! D33Rdog West Coast OG hasn’t grown into the biggest plant but boy is she a strong, sturdy little bush!!!!! I have been experimenting with this plant a lot. Pulling fan leaves, adjusting her tie downs daily, keeping the light close and turned up, adding a few microbial teas to her feed schedule, etc. and she hasn’t missed a beat. She focused on her structure more than height and I believe that to be from using a Par Meter and keeping lights close/in optimal par range for each stage of growth. She smells stronger than any plant I’ve ever grown at this stage!!! Sweet,minty with a touch of rotten berries is best I can describe right now lol. Layers of frost cover the sugar leaves and stems already.I usually pull plants that don’t grow big but there is something extra about this little girl!! She will be something special for sure!!! Thank you so much @Fastbuds for letting me grow this strain out and I’m doing my best to make sure it represents the quality that Fastbuds is known for!!!!! Even being the biggest auto brand out there, Fastbuds still looks out for the “small time growers” like myself. That’s why I have decided to grow strictly Fastbuds from here on out!!!!!! D33Rdog Well the West Coast OG I s doing about as good as she could be considering……. I finally figured out what stunted this plant and the lemon pie I started and cant believe I allowed such a careless mistake to happen but oh well, not the first I’ve ruined and they won’t be the last. Laziness will get you every single time. Even though this girl was stunted and smaller in size she is ultra frosty and stinky. She has a distinct minty, earthy smell going on almost like toothpaste!!!! She is going to be one giant bud at harvest time!!!! This girl will be quality over quantity for sure!!! Hate that I stunted her but the end product should be HQ and on the positive side, this Fastbuds strain is tough as nails!! D33Rdog Chopped the WC OG at 60 days due to some unfortunate news of having to leave a while on work. She had a little while left but she matured enough to give me some good smoke. I truly believe this plant was stunted early on due to some drainage/root oxygen issues. That was my fault completely and I have figured out the issue since. That being said she never showed any signs of being deficient. She was definitely a tough girl and had a will to grow. I will definitely be growing her again when I get back from my travels. Smells like minty, piney fuel after 2 days dark and 3 days dry in 63 degrees F. Frosted with resin!!!! Been in such a rush lately I almost chopped her up before taking some pics. Pics are with a lazy wet trim haha I will update this more come time for the smoke report. As far as WC OG goes, I can’t wait to grow her again too her full potential(size). I recommend this strain prior to smoking just due to how she powered through the rough times I put her through! Redemption round coming soon!!!! The quality of her bud speak for itself.
