~Week 1/ 1-7 days from sprout ~First week was good for some of the plants and bad for the others. Only two of the OG Kush seeds germinated, and the two that did sprout are stunted and growing extremely slowly. The purple punch are doing amazing as expected. Barneys farm purple punch is one of my absolute favorite strains. Great smoke, and great flavor ~Soil was watered before germinated seeds were planted ~Seeds were planted and then sprayed lightly everyday with a spray bottle ~DLI of about 28 when seeds were put in soil ~VPD unfortunately way out of range for seedling phase but I compensated with humidity domes

~Week 2/ 8-14 days from sprout ~Week went well ~Have been attempting to maintain a VPD of about 1.0 kpa however due to room venting and circulation I am unable to maintain proper VPD ~DLI was about 38 as the plants started growing into them and I reduced it down to 33 because I noticed a slight bit of light stress ~Humidity domes removed about day 6 for purple punches ~For now each plant is being watered by experience. I am making sure to just water however much I think I need to in a ring around the outside of the plants leaves. I am hoping this will help the roots stretch as in the past I have watered the full pot every few days and my plants always had small root systems ~Glad to say the plants are the largest I have grown so far at this age. This is surprising because I have grown in coco before but these plants seem much healthier and have more vigor

~Week 3/ 15-21 days from sprout ~Overall: Good week ~VPD has been a bit hard to maintain ~Plants growing into the lights so DLI does not need changed, 35 today when checked ~First top-dress with these autos will be in one week ~Watering as needed, about every 2-3 days End of week summary: Plants doing well. Fed first time today with organic plant food from CoM and worm castings. Smallest plant removed due to being severely stunted. Two largest plants are growing extremely well. Some spotting on largest plant, but no pests seen under a 60x loop. If it worsens I will take another look with the 1000x microscope. Misc. comments: Need to install blumat.

~Week 4/ 22-28 days from sprout ~Overall: Good week ~VPD has been a bit hard to maintain ~Plants growing into the lights so DLI does not need changed, 27-37, slowly increased to 40 over the past week due to plants growing into light. Flowering stretch is over and net is on plants now ~Watering as needed, about every 5 days End of week summary: No signs of pests. A bit of red on some stems. Could be due to several reasons, but I suspect heat and humidity fluctuations causing some stress. Definitely not due to nutrient deficiencies because there are no other signs. Could also be from the LED lights. Could also be genetics lol. Will keep watching. Misc. comments: Given up on installing blumat system this grow. Will be installing it before planting seeds next grow.

~Week 5/ 29-35 days from sprout ~Overall: Check End of Week Summary at bottom of page ~VPD: Given up but keeping it decent. Growing in cold basement so having high humidity in the room is a no-no ~Plants growing into the lights so DLI does not need changed, 35-43 ~Second top dress next week ~Watering as needed, about every 5-6 days. Plants should be watered on the 12th. That will be five days as opposed to last weeks 6 days which allowed the plants to get quite droopy Day 29 notes: Checked all plants. All look good. Snapped the top off the stunted OG Kush wile doing training. Taped the top back on the plant and it should be fine. Worst case scenario the plant takes a bit longer to finish. Will rescrog what grows up daily. Also noticing yellowing on the bottommost leaves. This is normal however and nothing of concern. Will look closer at the plants tomorrow as I possibly saw interveinal chlorosis and some micronutrient deficiencies. Day 30 notes: All good. Looking healthy. At these size I would expect half ounce from the smallest plant and 2 from the others. I have a feeding for these plants I believe next week but I will have to check my notes in a couple days. Also back left plant that I snapped yesterday is doing well. Top looks like it will reattach but we will see if it really does in a couple days. Day 31 notes: All good. Back left plant will live, as will the top. If I am wrong then tomorrow will be when I see it. Day 32 notes: All plants doing well. The two larger plants are showing fade on the bottommost leaves which it to be expected. Not much happened today, but tomorrow will be the biggest day for maintenance as far as the plants go. All plants will be defoliated as needed, and plants will be watered tomorrow. As you can see from the picture, two of the plants are thirsty today, so I did give them 1/4 gallon each to hold them off until their big watering tomorrow. Will also be removing the LED driver from the tent. This should drop temp at least a couple degrees, which is needed to drop temps a little bit for flowering stage. Day 33 notes: Big day today. Gave these plants the only full defoliation they will receive. Also watered the plants and did some more training. I also vacuumed the tent and moved the LED driver to the outside, which has dropped the temp by 3 degrees. Watered today, will need watered 5 days from now. Also watered with seaweed extract. I thought the extra minerals and vitamins would be a nice treat for the plants after their defoliation. Also have to water with the extract in order to maintain a healthy Potassium balance. Day 34 notes: Plants are acting perfect. Also I can see now with how much they have grown that it will definitely work to have 5 plants in 5 gallon pots. This will allow maximization of plant space. Nothing much to do until their top dress around day 42. Will be leaving most of the leaves on the plants. The only plant I will consider defoliating as flower moves on is the back right as all of the buds are fairly close together. Day 35 notes: Perfect end to week 5. Looking good. The two Purple punches are doing as expected. The OG Kush is full of surprises though. I have grown both of these cultivars from the breeders before and I know what to expect. The purple punches are on track to being some awesome plants. The OG Kush is like a wildcard. The first time I grew an OG Kush (same pack of seeds as the one I'm growing now) it was a crazy experience. The plant actually outgrew my 3x3 canopy-wise, and I had to buy a 4x4 just to be able to hold the plant. Unfortunately, I was using synthetic nutrients at the time and one of the days my PH was off by a LOT. This caused the plant to lose all of its leaves, and as a result it finished early and the buds were very airy. Great smoke though, very potent. This OG Kush is just as surprising. It was stunted and far behind the others. Not only that, but I accidently broke the plant in half. The plant is now the tallest and most vigorous of them all lol. This just goes to show how resilient autos are. I have heard before people saying to not even LST autos bc the stress is to much. Obviously this is not true. Also the temp is down to 78F, and my tent fans had turned off. I turned them back on today, and I turned on a heater. It should increase the temp to around 80F. So far this grow is going perfectly. Based on the amount of time I am into the grow, as well as how the plants look, I say they have about 6 more weeks of flower. End of week summary: Great week. Plants are looking healthy and happy. The OG Kush took a hit but recovered amazingly. The purple punches are growing as expected. Misc. comments: Next time I need to make sure I have 5 healthy plants so I can fill the tent up. These three plants leave a lot of empty space. So far this grow has been very easy. Two more feedings and all I will need to do is water the plants until harvest. After removing LED driver from tent on day 33, the temp has dropped to 80F. The OG kushes recovery to become the strongest and tallest plant after getting cut in half has reminded me of a technique I have heard of. The technique is basically snapping a plant in half on purpose, and then reattaching it. Some will live and some will die. Supposedly the plants that live are super strong and grow super fat buds compared the the unstressed plants. I may try this in the future.

~Week 6/ 36-42 days from sprout ~Overall: Check End of Week Summary at bottom of page ~VPD: VPD has been better compared to past weeks, but still lacking overall. ~Plants growing into the lights so DLI does not need changed, 35-43. Ended the week with DLI of 37.5-45 depending on plant height. ~Second top dress this week. Top dressed day 42. ~Watering as needed, about every 5-6 days. Plants should be watered on the 18th, but might have to be on the 17th if they are looking thirsty. Day 36 notes: Had a near miss last night. I noticed the temp in the tent was rising rapidly only to find that my outtake tubing had fallen back down into my tent. This meant that I was no longer pulling in the cold air and exhausting the hot air. My intake is too weak and it barely functions, thus most of my intake is passive airflow. This, combined with the fact that my intake was in the tent, caused temps to go up to 86F, and the plants were not looking good. I fixed the tubing and the temp dropped back down. As of today they are doing well. I may have to water them tomorrow though rather than day 38 as I had previously plans. Will check and see tomorrow. Other than that I have a top-dress to do this week. If I water tomorrow then i am going to top-dress on day 41-42. If not, I will top-dress day 38. The OG Kush is very interesting. Has shot up in growth even more. The OG Kush also has very strange pistil development. Some of the top colas have like 4 total pistils lol. Will keep watching. The two purple punches are doing well. The one in the back got squashed when the tube fell on it, but it recovered well. No issues so far. These purple punches have 5-6 weeks left while the OG Kush could easily go for another 8 weeks. Day 37 notes: Didn't take pictures today but I was forced to water today. VPD has been around 2.4 recently which is way out of range. This has caused the plants to use way more water than before due to the high temps and low humidity. It has been 4 days since the last watering. As of now I will water these autos every 4 or so days. I will be top dressing probably day 41, but maybe day 40 or 42 depending on how my environmental conditions are the next few days. Also no idea why the light in that tent is getting and staying so hot. My bigger light in my 4x4 is far less hot and its like 3x the size. It was fairly fine up until recently. I will see what I can do to maintain a good temperature. I also should buy some good quality clip on fans. I am using the ones I got when I first started growing and didn't know what equipment to buy. A combination of small usb clip on fans and a few Honeywell ground fans. I need to buy fans for the 3x3 and the 4x4. Will not do that for a while though probably. Day 38 notes: Looking good. Did not do anything today but peeked my head into the tent. Looking healthy and growth is good. Yellowing of bottom leaves is normal. The temps have also stabilized again so that is good. I do want to get the humidity up, but its being a pain as of now. Will water these plants either the 40 or 41st day. Day 39 notes: All good. OG Kush will not stop growing vertically. Expecting to water day 40 or 41, and will top-dress at the same time. No pictures taken today. Day 40 notes: Looking great. Tried to do some super cropping on the OG Kush but apparently it is no longer possible. The purple punches are both in great malleable condition, but the OG Kush is all fibrous and woody now. Other than that looking good. The OG Kush will be getting close to taking heat and light damage soon. Will reduce intensity in the next couple days or raise the two smaller plants. Raising the two plants is a better option but more difficult to achieve. Day 41 notes: Looking good. Can see the yellowing of bottom leaves start to speed up a bit, and there's definitely a slight nutrient imbalance. This is okay though as these plants are due to be harvested in about 5 weeks. Buds are already started to get triched up even though they haven't really developed yet. I will be feeding and watering them probably tomorrow I suppose. I was going to today, but it would not have been the optimal time. Day 42 notes: Started today with scratching the soil surface about 1 inch down, making sure to take care to not damage the larger roots. Put in 1/4 cup of 5-13-0 Fish meal and 1/2 cup of worm castings. The fish meal will provide Nitrogen and Phosphorus while the worm castings will add microbes and enzymes to help break down the organic fish meal sooner. The worm castings will also provide a small amount of nutrients and minerals to hold the plant over until the fish meal starts breaking down. I also watered with 1/4 tsp recharge and 1/4 tsp kelp meal. The kelp meal is essential now because my soil has run out and I am no longer feeding potassium. If I start seeing potassium deficiencies then I will add more. The recharge was to add more bacteria and microbes to the soil to further catalyze the breakdown of the organic nutrients. I also defoliated the dead leaves or leaves that were directly touching the soil. Also the Og Kush in the back was LST'd more in order to even out the canopy as it was getting to tall. Also showing some browning on some pistils. This is likely due to the light stress, but there's a slight possibility it could be bud rot. I doubt it however as there are no other signs, and the environmental conditions are not right for bud rot. I also have a ton of airflow. Also saw a stinkbug in the tent today so I need to watch out for more of them. Apparently they can lay eggs and start eating the plant as a pest. End of week summary: Great week overall. No major issues. A couple of small problems like my tent shooting up in tent a couple times, as well as VPD being off. The plants are doing well though. The OG Kush has shot up this week and completely overtaken the others. It is also looking the most mature of all the plants so far. It has very swollen calyxes and a few brown pistils. The Purple punch in the back is nice and dense with nice sized flowers all over. The purple punch in the front is also doing good. Purple punch in the front is more stretched than the one in the back right but it should be a great plant. Based off how things look now I would estimate 3 ounces per purple punch, and 1 ounce for the OG Kush. Last time I grew the OG Kush it was very larfy. Looking ahead to next week I do not have anything planned. Will just water as needed, with 1/4tsp of kelp each time. All plants are starting to trich up now, and the smell is getting very nice. Misc. comments: My DLI meter is being weird and I am just eyeballing it for now. My DLI was at around 40 the last time I checked. I turned the light up a bit to get closer to 50. Any signs of light stress and I will tune it down.

~Week 7/ 43-49 days from sprout ~Overall: Check End of Week Summary at bottom of page ~VPD: Been a lot better this week, not optimal though. ~DLI started out at 37.5-45 ~No feeding for another 3 weeks. Using kelp every watering for extra potassium. ~Watering as needed, about every 3-4-5 days. Plants should be watered on the 26th. Day 43 notes: Smells fishy in tent due to organic amendments. Will be watering in a few days. Plants are looking pretty good and humidity has risen up a bit which is in the favor of the plants. I have adequate air circulation so I am not worried about that. I might be thinning out the canopy in a few days. I do also hope that the plants finish pretty close together so I can chop and dry all at the same time. Day 44 notes: Just took a picture today. Day 45 notes: Everything is looking good. Just peeked my head in. No signs of stress or anything like that. All of the plants are looking at the right stage for their age. Will be taking a more intense look when I water again, which will possibly be tomorrow. Day 46 notes: All good today, just peeked into tent. More browning pistils on the Og Kush. Both purple punches looking good. At this point the plants should only have 6 weeks of flower left max. The plants are starting to show some abnormal rate of increase of the yellowing of leaves due to N deficiency. Next time I am going to make sure to top-dress one week earlier than I did this time. Day 47 notes: Looking good. Watered today. Looking a little hungry but the organic amendments should be available in the next few days. Other than that all good. Purple punches look like they will be nice and dense golf ball sized buds like last time but the Og Kush looks like its gonna be larfy also like last time. Lights at full intensity to get these girls stacking. Day 48 notes: Leaves yellowing at an alarming rate on two of the plants. Nutrients should be available within the next few days though. Not much else to add for today. I will add some sort of quick release Nitrogen in a couple days if the leaves keep yellowing, but like I said the nutrients should be available soon. Day 49 notes: Nothing to add today. Plants looking frosty. Leaves still yellowing. Pulled some off. End of week summary: Good week. Showed me that I need to do the topdressing 1 week earlier each time and that way nutrient will be available throughout the cycle. Misc. comments: May stop growing autos after this run. I love growing autos but it might be more efficient to grow photos. Going for efficiency right now.

~Week 8/ 50-56 days from sprout ~Overall: Check End of Week Summary at bottom of page ~VPD: ~DLI: Around 40-50 ~Feeding: Not this week. ~Watering: Watered 2x this week. 1 gallon per plant per time. Day 50 notes: All good. The plants are looking good. Should be watered tomorrow. Day 51 notes: Looks good. Watered today and all dead leaves taken off. The OG Kush is getting pretty chunky as well as the purple punch in the back left of the tent. Should start getting Nitrogen from the dry amendments either today or tomorrow. Day 52 notes: Looking good today. Nitrogen deficiency seems to have slowed down quite a bit. Day 53 notes: Will water tomorrow or the day after. The OG Kush looks way more mature than the purple punches but I am hoping they all finish within a similar time so I can harvest the whole tent at once. Day 54 notes: I can definitely see whatever deficiency the OG Kush has getting worse by the day. It is way worse in person than can be seen in the picture. I think it is a micronutrient deficiency but I will take out my charts and find out by the end of the week. All of the plants could have been watered today, but I am going to wait until tomorrow. Day 55 notes: The OG Kush in the back left is getting worse and worse with its N deficiency. It looks pretty bad at this point. I don't mind really as long as the plant gets to harvest, but I will not be growing this cultivar from that breeder again. My purple punches are very healthy. Losing some bottom leaves but that is expected. The purple punch in the back right is super fat. The purple punch in the front is a lot less fat, and much leaner and smaller buds. The Og Kush in the back left also has pretty mature buds, and is the frostiest as of now. Really hoping I can harvest all of the plants at the same time. May use this tent for photos next time, or will run some mephisto genetics, I have not yet decided. Also going to top-dress a little early, the next time I water. Day 56 notes: Looks good. End of the week today. Plants are still showing progressing Nitrogen deficiency. Obviously this Nitrogen I added last time was inadequate. I may order an airstone to make a tea, but if not the plants will get to harvest. Next time I amend the soil I will have to make sure to use twice the amount of nutrients I did last time. End of week summary: Okay week, plants all suffering from Nitrogen deficiency which will cause the plants to not live up to their genetic potential. 3-4 weeks left of flower. Misc. comments: I can get by on my current nutrient regime as long as I top dress one week early and amend heavily before replanting. Going to go dispensary style with my trim next time. I have been using my trim for edibles, but since I use a vaporizer, I am going to dry and cure my trim, and then basically grind it all up and keep it in a mason jar. This is what fills pre-rolled joints in dispensaries, but will serve as a backup stash for me. When vaping, the difference between trim and regular bud is hardly noticeable. Not quite sure how much to reamend after this harvest. As you can see, the OG Kush was more Nitrogen hungry than the purple punches. As of now I am going to amend a little heavier after this harvest, and will be letting the soil cook about 2 weeks. Unfortunately that would be all the time I have because I need to have my grow finished and my tents cleaned up and packed up by April 1st of 2023.

~Week 9/ 57-63 days from sprout ~Overall: Check End of Week Summary at bottom of page ~VPD: Been staying pretty close to 1.6 ~DLI: Same as last week. around 40-50 ~Feeding: Fed day 60. Watered again day 63. ~Watering: Going to be every 3 days no exceptions. Want them to have all the water they need now that they are deep into flower. No more need for roots to stretch. Day 57 notes: Looks good today. Should be approximately another 3-4 weeks of flowering before harvest time. I am really hoping to harvest all of the plants at the same time, otherwise my conditions for drying and curing will be way off, and whichever plant is latest will suffer. Could also move a plant to a different tent to finish flowering while the others dry in the 3x3. So far the OG Kush and the Purple punch in the back right seem to be most similar in age. Day 58 notes: Grow is not going very well. Plants look terrible in person, and the Nitrogen deficiency just keeps getting worse and worse even though I top-dressed 16 days ago. This is going to cause lockout soon and the plant will not be able to get any nutrients. The leaves will all die and the plants will suffer. The OG Kush is also way ahead of the other plants. It looks like it has just another 2-3 weeks whereas my other two have at least 4+ weeks left. Not sure on my plan. I am not smoking cannabis that's chopped down before its ready that's for sure. I also wont have any space for a staggered harvest. As of right now, looks like all the weed I pull from this tent is going to be low quality due to all of the deficiencies the plant has gone through. Day 59 notes: Looks good in the tent. Not much to add today. Should water again tomorrow or the day after. Day 60 notes: All good today. The tent smells beautiful. Like freshly made candy. I top-dressed each plant today with 1/2 cup worm castings, 1/4 cup of 5-13-0, and 1/8 cup of 4-4-4. Then I watered. Next watering will be day 63. This will be the last top dress these plants receive. They will have nutrients for the next 4 weeks. The Og Kush is very frosty, and the purple punch in the back right is very fat. The purple punch in the front is the average plant. Golf ball sized colas, with a decent amount of frost. I just need to keep the airflow in this room going well for the next 4 weeks and I should be good to harvest. Day 61 notes: Nothing to add from yesterday. These girls are cruising along nicely. I think I might top dress 2 weeks before harvest with Nitrogen, because I will be reusing the soil exactly 2 weeks after the plants are harvested. Day 62 notes: Looks good. Didn't do much in the tent today. Fixed a broken ac vent the other day. Day 63 notes: Looks good. Watered today. The plants are all looking great. I am taking off dead and yellow leaves as they die. The plants have a max of 4 weeks left until harvest. I may top dress again in 2-3 weeks depending on how mature the buds look. End of week summary: Good week overall. Not much else to add. Watered at the end of the week and I will keep with watering every 3 days. Plants are still all going strong. They each have their own problems and deficiencies but are all good overall. Misc. comments: Lesson learned for next time that breeder flowering time is worth less than the paper its written on. The OG Kush was supposed to finish 5 days after the purple punch and is at least 2 weeks ahead. This combined with the deficiencies and the inevitable lockout is definitely doing to hurt my yield and end product. Lessons for next time: reamend soil heavier, feed 1 week earlier each topdressing, if going with a group harvest then all of the plants need to be the same strain from the same seed pack, from a REPUTABLE breeder. Going with Mephisto next time. Would go with seedsman or Dutch passion or barneys farm if they were photos and you could keep a mother, but you need consistently top quality with autos no exceptions.

~Week 10/ 64-70 days from sprout ~Overall: Check End of Week Summary at bottom of page ~VPD: Little high. Between 1.4-2.0 ~DLI: Not sure. Plants are doing well though under the intensity I have going. Got to be between 35-50 DLI ~Feeding: No feeding this week. Will be fed again next week, at the beginning. ~Watering: Every 3 days. Should be watered on the 66th and the 69th. Day 64 notes: Looks good. Not much else too add. Nice and healthy today. Not much else to add the rest of the grow I would say. The OG Kush has very weak branches and is starting to fall over. Back right purple punch is super fat. The middle purple punch is still the same. Mid-sized, nuggets with a decent amount of frost. Day 65 notes: Checked the OG Kush today to make sure the branches were okay. The main two branches are leaning over a bit which is unfortunate. The plants are looking pretty good overall though. I can see the flowers getting fatter by the day. Day 66 notes: Watered today. Noticed some potassium deficiency on all plants so I decided to also give 1/4 tsp kelp extract per gallon of water and 1/2 tsp of recharge. The OG Kush has started tacoing at bit but nothing to worry about. The other two plants are shorter and seem to be receiving the perfect amount of light. Spilled a bunch of soil in my lung room today so the buds may end up being a bit dusty. No pictures for today. My seeds for next run also came in today. I got a bunch of Mephisto seeds. I am a little worried because I was not able to pick them up right away and they were out in 30F temps for about 6 hours. I am excited to run those next time though. As much as I love the purple punch, you can see the huge variance in phenotypes. I am hoping with a more stable line the differences plant to plant will be less. Day 67 notes: Peeked into tent today. I will be gone for days 69 and 70, but back on day 71. I am going to water the plants tomorrow morning on day 68. I have also decided today that I am going to start going no-till in my 5 gallon pots. For now, I am going to keep it simple and reammend a few weeks before these plants are finished growing so that way my next run will have the nutrients it needs. All of the plants are looking great. The OG Kush is pretty frosty but the purple punch in the back right keeps getting chunkier and frostier by the day and the purple punch in the front middle is finally starting to bulk up a bit. Should be around 3 weeks to harvest. Maybe 4 weeks max. Day 68 notes: Watered the tent today, and took a few leaves off the plants. I am going to be unable to take care of the plants for the next two days which is why I watered today. I am also going to let the humidity stay low so that way I will not need to worry about any mold or PM issues. The buds are all growing by the day and getting frostier. I am looking forward to this harvest in a few weeks. I will try to take some pictures day 70 if I can. Day 69 notes: Not recorded. Day 70 notes: Not recorded. End of week summary: Good week overall. Humidity was in a good range and so was temp. Plants are getting pretty close to the end of their life cycle. Just a little less than a month to go before these girls are harvested. I have some deficiencies popping up, but im gonna let things naturally play out because the cycle is almost over. Next time I will do my first amendment about 10 days earlier. Misc. comments: After harvest I am going to cut down the plants and after cleaning my tent I am going to replant some seeds into the already planted pots. This is a good first step to notill. 5 gallon pots are small so I will need to reamend about 3 weeks before harvest. I will amend with 1/8cup 5-2-4, 1/8 cup of 5-13-0, 1/4 cup of 4-4-4. Maybe more of each. I will also add worm castings to the top, and then a layer of soil over the castings. That is how I will maintain a notill in my 5 gallon pots. Reamend with nutrients castings and soil a few weeks before I plant my seed. I will not disturb any of the lower layers.

~Week 11/ 71-77 days from sprout ~Overall: Some hiccups this week. One of the plants experienced lockout and lost a few leaves and took some damage. ~VPD: Between 1.6-2.4 ~DLI: Full power. 40-50. Closer to mid 40s. ~Feeding: Has not been fed this week. ~Watering: Has been every 3 days. I believe I will have to move it up to every 2 days as of now. Day 71 notes: Looks good in the tent today. Buds are weeks away from harvest at this point. All of the plants have some deficiencies but nothing that will be too major. I am going to let it ride for now until harvest. Should be max 2 weeks of maturing and 2 weeks of ripening. If it takes longer than it takes longer its all good. Day 72 notes: Looks good. Bit of foxtailing on the OG Kush that is receiving too much light, but that is okay. In order to keep the other two plants on track I need the light to be at full power consistently. Nothing to do until about 2 weeks out from harvest. So I will top dress again in 2-3 weeks. Day 73 notes: Not checked. Unfortunately something must have happened today. Day 74 notes: Plants are looking pretty shabby today. The OG Kush in the back left looks about as good as it has been. The Purple Punch on the back right is looking good, with a bit of potassium deficiencies, and some plant stress. The front middle plant is my worry. The plant has had N deficiency for a while, but it also appears to have bad potassium deficiencies now, as well as Calcium or Magnesium deficiencies. Unfortunately, the plants are close enough to harvest that even if I added nutrients right now, they would not do much before harvest. I also do not have any calcium or magnesium specific nutrients. I did also decrease light intensity due to all the tacoing. Day 75 notes: Looks good mostly. Same condition as yesterday. I posted a grow question, and most people thought it was lockout due to incorrect PH. I do not know how to fix this though, and do not know why it was caused. I haven't been phing my water because I am growing organic, and using RO water so it self phs when it hits the soil. As far as the lockout, if I were to flush the plant I would also be flushing many of the nutrients. I am not sure what to do right now. Tomorrow I will remove the necrotic leaves. I will make sure to keep a close eye on everything. Also to note, the other two plants had the same feed and water and they are perfectly fine other than the problems they were already showing. Day 76 notes: The two tallest plants were leaning over when I came in today. I had to use some dowels and tie the plants up so that they would not fall over. I also stripped off all of the necrotic leaves from the problem plant. I also did a trichome check of all plants today. They all looked good. Not quite ready yet, as the plants are going from clear to milky currently. I will harvest at about 5% amber. Day 77 notes: Looks good. Watered today. I also removed the net yesterday. All of the plants are looking good. My smallest plant is also starting to get too large to support itself. Several of the smaller branches were bending. The nutrient problem is still on the table. I will keep monitoring it. The tent is looking pretty good all things told. End of week summary: Definitely some hiccups this week but nothing major. The plants are 2-3 weeks away from harvest at this point so I am just waiting for them to reach the proper maturity level. Misc. comments:

This is an organic grow using Coast of Maine Organic plant food, and lobster meal. It appears to me that the plant has deficiencies for all the three major nutrients, or lockout, but today it is also showing what appears to be Calcium or Magnesium. I've been using castings too.

You have a PH of 7 if that is correct then your having deficiencies from your plant not able to uptake the nutrients in the soil. Soil should be 6-7 and watering/feeding at 6.5. I would water the next couple at 6.0 then bump it up to 6.2-6.5. As for your feed I could not tell you as I have not grown organic. I'm guessing your feed is sufficient enough and once you correct the PH things will stop getting worse. If you have an EC/PPM pen then you can test your runoff to see if your overfeeding and causing lockout. Happy Growing

~Week 12/ 78-84 days from sprout ~VPD: Vpd is a little high. Between 1.6-2.4 ~DLI: 35 avg ~Feeding: Will be feeding a small bit at the beginning of next week. That is going to be for the seedlings next harvest though rather than these plants. ~Watering: Watering every 2 days. Day 78 notes: Just peeked into tent today. I will be watering tomorrow I believe. The humidity is also kind of high around 60%. Some of the branches on the shortest and fattest plant have also started falling over due to weight today. Day 79 notes: I think there is a big plot twist in here. Pretty sure the OG KUSH is seeded, and the purple punches could be too. I am not sure how this happened. Looking back on everything, I cannot pick out a reason why the buds would have seeded. Other than that very unfortunate bit of news, the OG Kush in the back left is doing well. Lots of foxtailing going on with the top buds of this plant. Light intensity reduced to 80% today. The purple punch in the back right is by far the least mature and least frosty. Still about 50% clear pistils and 50% brown pistils. The purple punch in the middle front looks the best. Nice and frosty with buds stacking down the branch. I will be very disappointed if it turns out that the plants really are seeded. This again solidifies my plan to go with only mephisto from here on. Also watered today. Will be watering again day 81. Day 80 notes: Tent not checked today. Day 81 notes: Looks good today. Watered a little over a gallon each plant. The plants are all foxtailing so I am going to make sure and turn down the light. I have it down at 80% currently which according to photone is about 36 DLI. The plants are all looking pretty good. I cannot tell if the plants are milky yet or still clear, but I will be checking and chopping them all at 5-10% amber. Maybe 5%. I will post a grow question asking what people think about the color of the trichomes. Day 82 notes: Looks good. Not much to add today or tomorrow. Will be watering again day 84. Plants are definitely close to done and will be getting chopped in the next 2 weeks. Day 83 notes: Looking good today. Watering tomorrow. I want to make sure that these plants are ready for chop when i do chop them. I want to see them start using less and less water. This way I know they are done with their life cycle. Hopefully that happens in the next few weeks. Tomorrow I will be taking off any dead or dying leaves from all of the plants. Day 84 notes: Watered today and defoliated a bit. Also had to restake the buds up so they would not fall over. All of the plants have cloudy trichomes and are past their harvest date. I have decided I will be chopping the three plants down day 90, unless something changes. If they stay how they are then I will be pretty happy. End of week summary: Great week overall. Likely to be the last full week of growth. Misc. comments: During the transition between this grow and next I really need to get my automated watering system set up.

I dissected one of the flowers and saw what appeared to be a seed at about 2 weeks of maturity. So still very young. If you do see signs of nanners or seeds, please go through my growdiary and pick out what I did wrong. I cannot identify anything happening this grow that was bad.

I don’t see any sign of intersex flowers/herms or seeded bud. The inside of the bract has an ovule that is what gets pollinated and forms into a seed. The ovules are there before it becomes pollinated and can be mistaken as beginning of seeds forming.

Please rate each picture. The first two pictures go to their own plants but the last two are from the same plant. These plants are about 3 days from breeder time. I am waiting until they are cloudy and probably 5-10% amber.

~Week 13/ 85-91 days from sprout ~VPD: 1.2-2.0 ~DLI: Low 30s ~Feeding: Done feeding for this cycle. Learned some things for the next grow cycle. ~Watering: Days 86, 88, and then 90 before harvest, or maybe not. Have not decided yet. Day 85 notes: Smells great. Looks good as well. Will be harvesting day 90 unless something changes. Light still at 80 percent intensity in the low 30s for DLI. Day 86 notes: Smells great still. I watered again today and tied up some branches that were falling over. The water I gave them last time was cold in an attempt to imitate fall, but I forgot this time lol so it was regular temperature. They will be harvested in about 86 days. The OG Kush and the Purple punch in the back right have slowed down their drinking quite significantly and are definitely ready to come down. My purple punch in the front though is still drinking strong. Regardless, day 90 is chop day. I also put some photo clones in the tent today in an effort to give them a new environment and a higher DLI. BTW the smells like I mentioned are great. The tent smells very floral and berrylike. Each plant is a little different. The plant in front smells like the taste of captain crunch with milk. The one in the back left is a mix between floral and gassy, and I have not smelled the other plant up close yet but I am sure it is nice. Day 87 notes: The smell in this tent is PUNGENT. My mom was near my grow area today and commented about how the smell was super strong. Yesterday my dad commented about how it smelled really good like freshly cut fruit. Today, the humidity is kind of high in the tent sitting around 57% during daytime. I am guessing this is because the plants are no longer using the water really so it is sitting in the soil and the moisture level in the tent is therefore higher. Regardless the plants as well as the clones are both doing well. I am surely ready for the harvest in 3 days. Day 88 notes: Looking and smelling good. Was going to water the whole tent today but only the plant in the front needed any water. Two days until chop. These plants are smelling and looking beautiful. I will probably water these again day 90, and chop a few hours after they have been watered. I will not be checking the tent at all tomorrow. Day 89 notes: I claimed yesterday that I would not be opening the tent today but it was a lie I suppose lol. One day from harvest so I wanted to check on these girls'. They are doing well. The clones in this tent are drooping and not super healthy as they should have been watered today. In all honesty, I probably will use my current clones for compost. I also watered the OG Kush in the back left a little bit. Tomorrow is chop day for all three plants. I am going to remove the bottom waterproof cover because it is filthy, and then hang the plants to dry. I would also prefer to move my 3x3 out of my lung room to achieve an environment close to 60/60. Tomorrow, before chop, I will be checking each plant with the loop, and hopefully uploading some trichome shots. Day 90 notes: Harvest day. Decided not to water again as the pots were still heavy with water even after 3-4 days. End of week summary: Great week. Day 90 is harvest. Check the harvest logs for each strain to find out more about them. Will be drying for 1 week and curing for 6. Misc. comments: The tent needs cleaned before the next grow. Would like to move the 3x3 out of the lung room for drying. One thing I want to note is that this tent will be 90 days seed to harvest, but could also have been 90 days seed to dry if I would have chopped day 83. This would have been perfectly fine, but I wanted them to ripen a bit longer before harvest.

12/09/22 So. The end of the growth. This will cover both of the purple punches. Fairly average growth in terms of difficulty; Purple punch pheno #1; Pretty average growth overall. I would have rated this plant to be easy to grow, but it seemed to encounter lockout briefly at day 30 of flower which caused several leaves to yellow. It could have also run out of Nitrogen due to insufficient top-dressing. Another issue with this plant is that the buds became too fat for the plant, causing the branches to need to be tied to dowels in order to not droop over at a 90 degree angle. Otherwise this plant was a joy to grow. The colors never really came out like in the pictures of how the plant was supposed to look, but that is not unusual. Fade also didn't go super hard but I believe this was due to my late top-dressing. I will not be tasting these buds for probably 6ish weeks or so but they smell amazing currently. Like the taste of captain crunch in some cold milk. The plants also looked pretty good, being well stacked with well-developed colas throughout the plant. Purple punch pheno #2; This plant was a joy to grow. Never had any issues I needed to address, held itself up even with soda can sized buds, and had those massive buds to begin with. The only negatives I can think of for this plant are that the plant was foxtailing the whole flower cycle. The plant is also noticeably less frosty than the other two, though I have heard rumors that on most plants the fatter the buds the less the potency. It is probably untrue, but it would make logical sense. Will be giving a smoke report of this plant in about 7 weeks after dry and cure. EDIT(12/15/2022); These two plants have been drying for 6 days now. According to my wood moisture meter, which is being very inconsistent, these buds are still around 20% moisture. Once they drop around to 10-12% I will be trimming them. The fatter the buds the longer the dry. These buds are not crazy fat right now but the 2nd pheno has some decent sized buds. EDIT(12/17/2022); Trimmed both phenos today. They were both overdried, just like the plant I trimmed yesterday. Everything should have been trimmed one day earlier. YIELD: Pheno#1(Smalls); 24.5grams/0.88OZ Pheno#1(Mids); 46.4grams/1.66OZ Pheno#1(Highs); 53.0grams/1.89OZ Pheno#1(Total); 123.9grams/4.425OZ Pheno#2(Smalls); 26.6grams/0.95OZ Pheno#2(Mids); 14.2grams/0.51OZ Pheno#2(Highs); 96.2grams/3.44OZ Pheno#2(Total); 137grams/4.89OZ Total between two plants; 260.9grams/9.31OZ NO TRIM OR LARF INCLUDED IN WEIGHING. SOME OF THE LARFIER BUDS WERE IN THE SMALLS BUT ALL OF THE REAL LARF WAS DISCARDED.

I have grown one purple punch before and I was expecting similar results. Of my two plants, one turned out similar to my last grow. The other one turned out much differently. Either way both plants are good. I do think that I paid too much for the seeds being that they were 10$ a piece. You can get seeds from the highest quality auto breeders for less than 8$ a seed. Those provide easy grows and quality and quantity every time. That being said, no other complaints than seed price, which is my own fault honestly. I also need to figure out which micronute (maybe Sulphur) increases branch strength.

12/09/22 This plant certainly was an interesting one to grow. I think a little history is necessary. About 6 months ago I bought a bunch of seeds from North Atlantic Seed Co. Well they were nice enough to ship some free seeds, and I received 4 or 5 OG Kush seeds. Only two of them ever popped, this being one of them. So looking at either a 40 or 50% germination rate. This plant came out entirely different from a seed in the same pack I grew about 6 months ago. Not going to lie at all this specific pain was a pain in the ass. It was hard stunted at the beginning of its life cycle and eventually it actually OVERTOOK the other two plants. This was really surprising, and I need to give this plant some credibility for its resilience. I also snapped this plant literally in half pretty early on in flower. Maybe week 2 if even. That brings me back to another point. The stems were very woody and fibrous, and had no bend. They would just snap if they bent over. Pros: Frosty buds, decent harvest weight, interesting but atypical OG Kush smell Cons: Woody branches that snap easily had to stake up every branch, very finicky to light, lots of foxtailing, had a really hard time getting started EDIT(12/14/2022); I just ran out of buds unexpectedly today and rather than going to the dispensary I decided to smoke this plant. A little backstory. On harvest day, the two smallest branches snapped off of the plant at the base. I hung them up above the rest of the plant, and today they were at a good RH to trim because they were so tiny. So it has only been 5 days and I did check the cannabis and it is in the dry zone now. As I mentioned in this diary before, this plant looks NOTHING like the other exact same seed I popped from the same breeder. However, the smell IS the exact same. The plant smells gassy yet sweet, and the buds look okay. These buds are average density IMO, but these were the smallest from the plant. Pictures titled "12/14/2022 5 day dry". EDIT(12/15/2022); So, not sure what's going on with this plant, or my meter. One or the other. Yesterday the plant rated at about 19% internal moisture. Today, with not much change in environment the moisture is now 8%... I am not sure if my meter is acting up, which it very well could be, but I will be trimming and bagging this plant tomorrow. I would do it today but I do not have time. EDIT(12/16/2022); Well, I trimmed this plant today. It was a decently easy trim. I started at about 9:30, and was finished by around 1:30-2:00. This would put me around 4-4.5 hours. UNFORTUNATELY, I suppose I needed to trim yesterday. Today after trimming and bagging the cannabis, the RH reads around 45-50%. Ideal RH for curing is around 58-62%, when you drop out of this range you don't cure efficiently, and when you go above this range mold is a risk. I rate my buds in 3 scales. The smallest buds, and the larfiest buds, are what I call the "smalls". These are what I smoke during cure if need be and these are also what I will use if I run out later on in the cycle. Medium sized buds, with a good bag appeal, are what I call "mids". The mids are what I mainly smoke. Mids usually have the largest quantity. The largest buds, which usually are just the very top part of the plant, are what I called Highs. These are saved for special occasions, or what I give to people as gifts. All said, I got; 23.6grams/ 0.84OZ of Smalls 52.1grams/ 1.86OZ of Mids 25.0grams/ 0.89OZ of Highs

Painful grow. The branches being so woody gave me a really hard time as they kept snapping and falling over. A few good things did take place for instance the buds are super frosty, and the plant self-topped so I had two main colas.
