This my first ever grow so bear with me, I really hope all the research pays off. 3D printed some air pruning pots and bought a tent and lights. Also got some companion plants... heard wonders about cannabis growing next to basil. Used the paper towel germination method. The WW made a taproot in about 35H about 6mm long while the RG only made a taproot of ~2mm in 3 days. Potted both of them currently and the WW is already poking out. Used 3ml/500ml of root juice/water after planting Will update when i see a bigger change If you have any tips or tricks, please help a newb out👽

So I've noticed some spots appearing on the leaves of the white widow and I don't really know what they are and how they affect the plant. Anyone can offer me some advice? Im reaching the end of my first veg week.

Do you PH your water before adding your nutrients? Looks as tho she Is telling you something is slightly out and that would be my guess x

I think you're watering a little too much/often, also I wouldn't follow the BioBizz schedule when you're growing autos. You shouldn't really need to give them anything but maybe rootjuice the first couple weeks, and every other day is pretty often to be feeding since you're in soil. I grów in soil with BioBizz too so if you want to check out my diaries, some of them have quite precise notes on the feeding/watering and amounts. Those dots are likely the result of overwatering or having burnt the leaves with waterdroplets. Water only when you can feel about top 5cm has gone dry, and consider feeding every 2-3 waterings. It's a bit harder to monitor the soil with the pebbles on top, but you can try using a stick to see if it returns out of soil dry or lift the pots to know the weight - heavy=still water light=dry.

You might have very light imbalances in your PH. with hydros.. when feeding, water + nutrients try make it so their ph is near the same value. Nothing major yet. But she is showing you that things aren't dialed in just right. As I don't see any set defs/toxs.. so, my guess would be very light ph imbalance. Or, getting dif PH feeds?

Toping and lst not working together. Its just like mainlining, you loose time if apply both ... Toping for autos is nuts, if you even know how to grow, unless even one ounce is great result for You ...

Beautiful plant! Well you don't have to topping, but if you wanted to you could do it now so that no branches go too far beyond the edge of the pot making it asymmetrical! Bravo! It is advisable to do lst until the second of flowering, removing the laces/sticks that have become superfluous and leaving only those necessary to keep the branches in place :) then if you want the last 2 of flowering you can do them without braces, it depends if it stays in place by itself :)

I've been looking at other peoples diaries and I'm noticing that other peoples autos are stretching more and have more space to breath while mine are like stubby small bushes. For a future grow now to I get them to spread out more and have more space in-between nods?

To answer question exactly: Raise lights ( creepy is right) during veg higher and lower during flower Although, your plants are healthy already. I would focus on your LST to help with node spacing and more light to bud sites.

Hey Growmie, Too much distance between internodes is not a good thing. Some strains, like Sativa varieties, may naturally grow taller and stretch more than other strains. However, if the internodal distance is too long, branches and stems become weaker. It seems to me your doing a great job and have great internode space if you are worried about the plant breathing from below try defoliation or just having great air circulation to fix that.

Hello! Then keep in mind that some varieties remain bushy because their genetics (indica) are inclined to produce shorter plants with short internodes. Just like your WW. Other factors then affect, such as light intensity (if it is enough the plant does not need to elongate), air recirculation (same thing, if it does not feel there is a risk of mold it stays stockier) and also as "energy saving" (a stocky plant needs less energy). Seeing your journal, it looks beautiful like this!

good luck! Incredible pots, what kind of benefit do they have? Would you mind sharing where you found the 3d plans?

@CarnivorPenguin, Hey buddy! This is the link - https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/home/mattroots-large-air-pot-system-sistema-de-macetas-aireadas Its an air pruning pot for enhanced root growth, in theory i should have a larger root ball then normal pots. Will see when I harvest whats what

Stick to LST ONLY until you have 2-3 runs of the strain under your belt. Then do a topping to see how the genetics respond. Sometimes muy bueno sometimes MALO 😂😂😂 Keep LST until week 1 of pre-flower. Then let her go do her thing.

@123Grow, So what stage do you think im at now? I counted my first week as the germination week. Also can you comment on my LST work? Am I doing it right? What should i look for to see when shes about the pre-flower?
