Week 12 - 18 August 2018
Lower leaves tips started to curl down and became yellow. Worried about Overheating, overwatering, overfeeding and if it could be lack of Nitrate and/or Iron? I have increase the distance between the lamp and plant to 1m and gave if a flush at mid week. Plant keeps growing steady and healthy at the the top and is at 50cm tall.
Week 19 - 25 August 2018
As last week she showed some signs of overheating, overwatering or overfeeding (thanks Mark) or deficiency on Iron or Nitrate, was hesitante to give her any further feeding of nutrientes and did a small flush over the course of the previous week. Watched the progress on a daily basis to see if the problem would keep on manifesting itself and spreading, which did not. For a couple of days it looked like she had stagnated and was not really growing upwards. Today is Tuesday and I have measured it's hight.. Sunday she had 60cm it is now at 67cm, looking healthy and the smell is increasing. Gave her another feed of nutrients Monday.
This strain was a great experience for me to grow it. My initial research on which strains to get for my firsts grows payed off with Big Kush. Big buds indeed!! Was very easy to grow, stretches a lot both side ways and in hight. I don't think defoliation is a good technique for this strain. Next time I will grow it I will use LST and SCROG to see if I can increase on yieldThis strain was a great experience for me to grow it.
