Preparing the necessary equipment and tools, getting the seeds, let's get started. Soaking for a day. Tap water, settled, 120 ppm + Simplex Mass at 1 drop per 300ml.
01/10/2022
🌰 The seeds have been resting in the solution for almost a day, now they go into improvised containers for germination. Some strains with 1-2 seeds have already started to show "tails."
All varieties follow the same super simple scheme:
1. Soak paper towels in the solution from the seeds and wring them out.
2. Place the seeds between two paper towels.
3. Cover with lids (unused trays for small pots) and put in a warm place.
4. Done, you’re amazing, waiting for the roots.
02/10/2022
After another day, I sowed all the material in small pots of 0.29L - substrate coco + perlite.
07/10/2022
10 out of 12 have sprouted. Some samples are already showing their mutations.

mutantfarmer The result for the sprouts is 12 out of 12. All plants, to varying degrees, show the Duckfoot leaf mutation. I will provide descriptions based on phenotypes after determining the sex.
During the week, the plants received watering with a solution of 450-530ppm at 5.8pH. I started measuring the output on the last watering on 14.10, and it showed 600-850ppm, 5.5-5.7pH across different plants. I thoroughly watered everyone with a solution of 450ppm at 5.8pH, so signs of overwatering are visible.
VT#11 turned out to be the slowest to sprout and the weakest plant, so I removed it from the process.

mutantfarmer The plants have different growth rates and activity levels; some drink faster, some slower. A few plants have shown deficiencies in calcium and magnesium. The aphid attack I mentioned earlier in my other report on Freakshow x Bastard didn't cause significant damage; I think the treatments may have slowed the growth of the plants with deficiencies.
Throughout the week, the plants received watering with a solution of 450-530ppm 5.8pH. In G.H.Feeding, there's no calcium + my water's ppm is around 130, so nutrient problems started to appear. By the end of the week, I began adding CalMag to the solution to correct the deficiencies. Drainage wasn't measured during the week.
VT#12 is growing with normal leaves; I'll leave it for now to see how it develops.

mutantfarmer Based on the results of the third week, I can mark the Vino Tinto strain as the most finicky. For a simple reason - during the problems of the week (great section, right? I hope it doesn't become a regular thing this season), the plants suffered the most damage among the greenhouse residents.
As a result of discovering an issue with the pH meter (check out my report on Drunken Bastard x Freakshow), and new measurements of the readings on the plants, it turned out that most of the plants had a pH around 4.8-5.2. After identifying the mistake, I'm giving the plants a larger volume of solution, hoping for a quick correction of the readings. I also raised the nutrient levels from 500-550 to 580-630, with yields from different plants ranging from 530-700.
I think I'll make it to the grow shop, grab some Flora Kleen, and flush the plants.

mutantfarmer Vegetation, Week 4.
VT#5 was the first to show female characteristics, and despite some issues along the way, it's the most active and strongest growth, so I've decided to choose it as my contender for the #CannapediaGrowersCup4th in the Sativa category. I transplanted it into a new container - a comfortable price/quality equivalent to FloraFlex at 1 gallon (the original isn't available in my country yet, unfortunately). The substrate is also coconut + perlite, and I filled the container with about 2-2.5 liters.
After the transplant, I topped the plant and removed the lower leaves since they could stay in a puddle when watering + allow more light to reach the branches. As it grows, I'll try to stretch the plant into a compact bush.
VT#8 and #10 turned out to be slim and powerful male plants, and soon I'll top them to encourage more side branch growth, take clones, and send them off separately to produce pollen.
Throughout the week, we were using a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.9-6.2pH and 650-710ppm.

mutantfarmer VT#5 #CannapediaGrowersCup4th took the transplant without any issues. After topping, it's pushing out tightly packed branches in all directions. The roots have reached the bottom of the pot. Watering every 1-2 days.
VT#8 is a male plant, showing a bright anthocyanin coloration on the stem and petioles, topped at the beginning of the week. It's showing signs of hunger on the leaves.
I trimmed the tops of all plants of the strain.
Throughout the week, we were using a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 670-730ppm, twice a day.

mutantfarmer VT#5 #CannapediaGrowersCup4th is feeling great, judging by the mass gain and moisture absorption - it's already developed a good root system.
This week I conducted a major culling, selecting based on phenotypes. I discarded the plants that didn't have the characteristics I needed or had unwanted traits. I chose 2 male plants and sent the other boys to the compost. There are 2 girls left and a couple of samples that haven't shown their sex yet.
VT#8 continues to impress me with its vibrant stem color and activity.
Throughout the week, we received a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 700-780ppm, twice a day.

mutantfarmer VT#5 #CannapediaGrowersCup4th is still just as good. I had to do some serious pruning, creating something like a main, leaving branching at 8 col + I'm still delaying the transition to flowering for another week.
Phenotype: Medium-short distance between nodes, branches well, shows almost no purple tint on the petioles/stem, df leaves with distortions on 2-5 fingers, resemble currant leaves.
This week I found time to describe the phenotypes based on a small set of traits, took clones from each plant, and did some serious pruning:
VT#8 M (Best Male) Medium distance between nodes, branches well, resinous purple stem, df leaves on 3-5 fingers
VT#10 M Medium distance between nodes, super bushy, stem of rich purple hue, df leaves on 3-5 fingers, predominantly 5.
VT#7 ? Medium distance between nodes, branches well, resinous stem with a purple tint, df leaves on 3-7 fingers
VT#3 ? Medium distance between nodes, bushy, does not show purple tones, df leaves on 3-5 fingers with significant distortions, the plant's skeletal structure is also distorted, at each branching point one branch grows more actively than the other.
Throughout the week, we were using a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 700-780ppm, twice a day.

mutantfarmer In the photo, the trophy VT#5. I haven't been working with the plants due to a "reset" of my greenhouse.
I lowered the nutrient concentrations and for a week, we were getting a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 650ppm, every 2-3 days.
