Freak Ryder F1 - Mutant Farm

mutantfarmer Most show a slight mutation of the Freakshow leaf, which I'm really happy about, as it makes my job easier. Leaf mutations are a recessive trait (just like autoflowering), so it usually starts to show in the second generation. I'll provide a description of the phenotypes after determining the sex. Over the week, the plants received watering with a solution of 450-530ppm at 5.8pH. I started measuring the yield on the last watering on 14.10, and it showed 600-850ppm, 5.5-5.7pH for different plants. I thoroughly watered everyone with a solution of 450ppm at 5.8pH. After watering, they showed signs of overwatering but quickly recovered and returned to active growth. I'm not discarding anyone. 🌿 An interesting observation, with FreakRyder, compared to the strain without the morphology introduction of Freakshow, the first leaves show 2-3 fingers instead of 1. On the second tier, 5-6 instead of the usual 3. In the photo, on the left is DC Kush, on the right is FreakRyder.

mutantfarmer All the plants are showing active growth and quickly drying out their container. The aphid attack I mentioned earlier in another report didn't cause significant damage and didn't affect growth. During the week, the plants received watering with a solution of 450-530ppm 5.8pH. Signs of hunger are appearing on the lower leaves. At the end of the week, I started adding CalMag to the solution. The yield wasn't measured.

mutantfarmer The plants are showing active, powerful growth, eating and drinking quickly; I just want to put these beauties on a drip. This week, there was no intervention other than watering. As a result of discovering an issue with the pH meter (see my report on Drunken Bastard x Freakshow), and with new measurements, it turned out that the pH level is reaching 5.1-5.4. Since the plants are actively absorbing liquid anyway, the watering volume has remained the same, but from time to time I water with a solution of reduced nutrient concentration to avoid salt buildup. I raised the nutrient levels from 500-550 to 580-630.

mutantfarmer Vegetation, Week 4. The plants are showing active, strong growth, quickly eating and drinking. Several plants are already displaying sexual characteristics, namely forming pollen sacs. Most of the plants with the most altered leaf morphology are boys. A couple are still unclear. I think by next week I’ll confirm the theory of the breeder happyevil. FR#2 was the first to show female sexual characteristics, and besides that, it has the most active and strong growth despite some issues along the way, so I’ve preliminarily decided to choose it as my candidate for breeding on the female side. I topped it and transplanted it into a 1L pot. Over the week, we received a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.9-6.2pH and 650-710ppm.

mutantfarmer The lady FR#2 adapted well to the transplant and is gradually gaining mass. The stems' petioles are showing an anthocyanin coloration. In the morphology of the leaves, the only signs of FS so far are the deeper serrations along the edges of the leaves. The boys were seriously punished, and I cut off several levels. Next, the males will receive another trim and head off to produce pollen. Over time, I will describe the info on the phenotypes. Almost all male plants show pronounced changes in leaf structure. For a week, we were using a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 670-730ppm, twice a day.

Among the male plants, it shows more of the freakshow morphology with a strong resinous stem, and in structure, it aligns with the girl - short distance between nodes and massive branches. During the week, we received a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 700-780ppm, 2 times a day. Week - 7 — no interventions in the plants' lives were made, no photos were taken. mutantfarmer I did a little defoliation for the female plant, otherwise no interference, just watering and photos. G.H. Feeding Hybrids + pH Down, with readings of 6.0-6.3pH and 880-950ppm, once a day.

mutantfarmer FR#2 I stretched the colas so that light could better reach the lower levels. The plant is already forming buds and will soon be ready for pollination. FS#6 has formed powerful flowers and will start to pollen soon. I’ll collect pollen from it and either put it into reveg or dispose of it, as I haven't decided yet who I will pollinate the girl with. I'm waiting to see how the second male FS#8 performs, which I put on 12/12 later since I was growing branches to take a clone. For the week, I’ve been watering daily with G.H. Feeding Hybrids, 6.2-6.3 pH, 930-960 ppm. + I conducted a foliar treatment with Simplex Mass.

mutantfarmer FR#2 is a beautiful lady, feeling great and covered in sugar, we're waiting for the little guy FR#8 to show himself. I lowered the base and added G.H.Feeding Booster PK+. Other than that, it’s been a week without any interventions, just watering and photos. Throughout the week, daily waterings with G.H.Feeding Hybrids + Booster PK, 6.2-6.3 pH, 930-980 ppm.

mutantfarmer FR#2 finally got its chance and is now carrying future offspring. FR#6 snatched the lead from his brother and earned the right to be the pollinator. FR#8 turned out to be almost identical to number six, but at the start of flowering, the size of the pollen sacs seemed smaller to me. And since 6 had already started dropping pollen, I decided to use him. After pollination, I trimmed the males and threw them back into vegetation. I'm giving the girl a solution with reduced concentration. I left them for a couple of days without watering (didn't check if the timer was on🙈). The plants didn't suffer and bravely endured the drought. For a week, daily waterings with G.H.Feeding Hybrids, 6.2-6.3 pH, 630-700 ppm.
