took a few days to pop after going in the peat pellet but she is up and running now. Ive made a few adjustments to my hydroponic set up think next time might be a full re build. The seed is another free sample.

She is growing nicely shot up while I was away for a couple of days. I've removed the bottom 3 sets of leaves as the last few grows those branches don't produce the best buds. I've started bending over the main stem to try and flatten the canopy, suspect this will need to be done over 2 layers, I wish i had a bigger grow space.

She's growing fast and healthy. lots of LST to get a flat canopy. removed a few lower branch sites so i don't have as much crap to trim. temps have drooped and autumn has arrived so humidity is up :) feeding to vita link medium plant schedule. nice and easy i did forget to foliar sprayl ast week but i add calmag so she should be OK

More LST and defoliation she's growing well and strong. I,m taking off more leaves and lower bud site than i have done previously as my confidence (and reserve supply) has grown. I'm hoping to get more big quality buds than small popcorns from this plant than my previous sativas so better quality and less trimming. first sign of pistols 5-11-22 so next water change i might switch to flower nutrients but I'll take a view on that later in the week. Watched a kyle kushman video Sunday afternoon and decided to go a bit harder on the trimming apparently it's all maths 😉. She looks a bit bere to me but similar to some I've seen on here. I thinking should have done it a couple of days ago but she's so healthy I'm sure she'll bounce back. 🤞

Is it too late for more heavy defoliation? Last Sunday I did a lot of trimming and thought I'd over done it, now I realise I didn't do nearly enough. She's switched to flower and I was going to change to bloom nutrients today. Thanks guys

I'd go for it - it's certainly not "too late" - and I've had at least one grow where I had to defoliate all the way up to 2 weeks before harvest! This is a super article on the subject if you're interested: https://www.growweedeasy.com/nebulas-super-simple-3-step-defoliation-tutorial Good luck!

So she bounced back from last Sundays trim way stronger than I expected so much growth that RH went up to 70% and I had loads of small potential bud sites that I really didn't feel like trimming. thanks for the advice on the question guys I think a big trim was the right way to go guess I'll know by the end of the week. She it's covered in pistols and is still stretching so time to recover i hope. started using Vita link bloom A&B as of 12-11-22.

i don't think i needed to worry about trimming her last weekend in fact i had to do a bit more latter in the week she's growing strong and fast and seems to have responded well to trim. there are more and more pistols growing and the stem has started to turn to wood so i think too much more trimming might hurt my yields so I'll be very carfull and just remove fan leaves from now on. wish i gone further last week with the defoliation, every plant is a learning curve :) and good fun.

Bit of drama this week I noticed that Wednesday night the leaves were pale and assumed they were getting to much light as a growth spurt has brought them a bit close to it so I adjusted the light. Thursday I noticed that I had a few leaves with brown spots and realised I had a call mag deficiency and my EC was low at 1.5 so did a water change but added 30ml of calmag. Saturday morning I seem to have nutrient burn so I've added a bit more fresh water let's see...

she has bounced back really well form last weeks deficiency/issues so I'm very happy/lucky. I've had to defoliate a few times due to light block and the RH being a bit higher than it should be. looking on track for a decent harvest, i think I'll have a lot more confidence to heavily lollipop the next plant i grow.

so more drama... I noticed more deficiency in the leaves Tuesday this time i think it was nutrient lock the EC had increased to 2.9 i toped up with a heavily diluted solution until i got to 2.2 leaf damage did not spread after Wednesday and has only gotten worse on the already sick since a tiny bit. I'm going to need to do more defoliation but I'll wait a couple of days to make sure she's fully healthy. I'm going to run week commencing 11-12-22 at a lower main A/B solution of 3 ml/L.

she is growing well had to add more calmag during the week due to some spots on the leaves buds seem strong though. My oscillating fan burnt out bowing the fuse to it and the RDWC pump, luckily the design of grow pot inside the sump meant that the roots didn't run dry. Bit frightening with the fan could have been a fire. The replacement wont be here until the new year so i am running the non osculating until then its such a small space I hope it wont matter. I think next week will be peak flower and she'll get the PK boost instead of the buddy, 3 weeks to go maybe?

I did the water change 17-12-22 with the plan of switching to PK boost 24-12-22 but decided mid-week she was probably in peek flower already so switched it up. The next few days and previously if I think back every morning the PH was low at around 5.5 so needed adjusting up. Evidence of calcium deficiency has been showing the last few weeks on and off, so I increased amount of CalMag in the solution. As improvement was slow I did some research and it looks like I didn’t have a strong enough solution overall and that was causing the PH crash and associated deficiencies. I did another change with PK boost but 120ml of A/B rather than the reduced 90ML I was using to avoid nutrient burn she experienced a bit of early on. I’ll keep a close eye on her the next few days hopefully I haven’t done too much damage EC is high at 2.9. She is close to harvest now.

I went back up again with the main fertilisers to try and help with the PH swings. Apart from the odd burn on a few leafs she is looking really healthy and has a few orange pistols.

She is coming along, still no amber trics yet but some of the sugar leaves are turning yellow at the tips i think i started Finale too early again. I'll keep an eye on her but i hope she'll be down before next weekend. I'm going to dry cure the whole plant i have built a box so i can control the humidity better this time.

As i'm still learning how to grow I'm not really to sure what to say, at this stage every plant I grow is better than the last. I will say that she grew well and respond positively to training.
