Had no issues germinating with my setup. I have a grow mat with temp probe set to 78f and they popped out of the pods within 24 hours. I'll begin a light feeding at 0.4EC and by the end of the week I'll have it up to 1.0 EC and a pH range of 5.9-6.2.
Same setup as the other coco grows. this will be the first container until I get about three nodes or if the roots start poking out everywhere and then I'll transplant.
Also, this strain is a promo strain which is a mix of Snowcaine and The Spice! which both have been on my watch list for a while now.
She survived the first week!! :D
She made it up to 1.0 EC with no major issues. The secondary nodes are really taking their time and I was worried for a few days but I can easily see them sprouting out now. She'll stay in this container until about 3 nodes tall and the roots look pretty well established in the container. This usually takes another week or two depending on the strain.
There's been a bit of twisting in the leaves and I'm not sure why? pH was 6.1-6.3, 1.0 EC, feeding twice a day. Rolled back to once a day, new nutes with added cannazyme, new pH of 5.9 and EC slowly ramped to 1.4. Looking better but looking for any feedback. solo looks better
Hey Growmie, I think it’s being over watered. This refers not necessarily to the amount given, but the frequency (how often). If the roots are being suffocated, this growth will occur, wrinkled, and crinkled leaves, growth clumped together and if you look closely at the leaves, they may also have a bumpy texture to them. I would say let the medium dry out quite a bit more before you water next, and then again and you’ll see them bounce back. 👊🇨🇦❤️
Well, after the little slip up of the seedling container and over saturation of the soil. She came back well enough. The root structure was still good and solid enough to transplant into the 1 gallon pot. Albeit, she's a little more off center than I would like. She's probably going to take a couple extra weeks in veg to full recovery but that's all good!
Still holding well enough and she's enjoying her new home. Already getting some roots popping through the sides so I'll let that bulk up more over the next week. Then it'll be one of the two; top her then transplant or transplant then top her. It'll depend on how she's looking but she should be good to flip the lights in another week. I'd like to keep her small so I'm thinking a 3 gallon pot to finish up in.
