In the last week we ran plum out of room in those planting cups, at least plants 1 and 2 did. Its at this time that I have realized that plant 3 is stunted, and thus we anointed her Stunty 3. We have room so am still going to water it, but it is no longer the focus of the grow.
Plants 1 and 2 got up-potted to 3 gallon fabric pots with Fox Farm Ocean Forest I had left over from my first grow. I also used Great White Mycorrhizae directly in the dirt I was planting the seedlings in to. Learning how hot FFOF was on my first grow I know I am safe to rely on the soil nutes for quite a while (at least 4 weeks per the FAQ on their site). Now that we have our contenders in bigger pots I am not really watering much more than I was in their sprouting cups. Each watering I pretty much stick to wetting the soil as far away from the plant as the leaves go. Since there is so much new dirt I am not looking to get a mold problem so I water sparingly and now start lifting the pots to determine when they want more. I am starting to get ideas. I am starting to look at my grow space. I am starting to think on how to train these girls.
Water is still pH'd to 6.5 and I do not add nutes. I have added a fan that blows on the plants constantly at a low speed, trying to build up some stalk strength. I have a humidifier set up to maintain 60% humidity as it is hot as shit outside and the AC is running constantly, drying out the air.
