The first week was made of mostly waiting for results.
We tried to germinate from soil directly without any extra nutrients added. 3/5 seeds winked through the soil after 5 days.
Overall we are rather satisfied, but with a bitter taste. Didn't expect to only see 3 seeds but thats life I guess.
After just one day of seeing light, the seedlings skyrocketed (stretched a lot). We used a small LED for like 30 bucks from Amazon and apparently this was by far not enough light for our seedlings to grow as they should.
Its a pain to enter data here, PLEASE change this!!
Anyway, so in the second week of their life we potted the seedlings into their final container.
We did this because we are relatively unsure how to change pots when using the BioTabs schema, because all nutrients are in the soil.
Do you waste everything from the first pot? do you reuse the soil in the bigger pot and adjust nutrients to fit the bigger size? We don't know.
Beside, the week went very well. Temp and Humidity were in perfect state throughout the week. The new fan and air humidifier are really paying off.
We planted the babies slightly deeper to adjust for their stretching from last week. Also, we used the Boom Boom spray from BioTabs for the first time, directly after repotting them in the 18L container
In the second week of vegi we changed the light schedule from 24/0 to 18/6. We didnt water as far as I remember. We changed the fan direction to reduce the air hitting on the plants. Plants seem strong and healthy, although I think one might suffer from the constant air flow directed at her. thats why we chose to move the fan.
