SufalloBoldier OLD TRUSTY method i use for germination. 95%+ success rate. No effort. No waterings for 3 weeks. 1. 16-20l pot filled with canna terra professional soil, no additional perlite. Dont pack too tight. 2.Prepare 4-5liters of Tap water aprrox (approx 50ppm) and i add 1ml/liter of canna calmag to bring the ppm up slightly. (No need for calmag if tap water is more than 200ppm) 3.Adjust the PH of the water to approx 6.0 and temp approx 25c. 4. Slowly water the entire pot of soil with the water, MAKE SURE TO save a cups worth of water for later. 5.After pot is soaked, leave it twenty minutes for any run off to leave, then i poke a very small and shallow hole in the center of the pot no more than 2cm meter deep. Place seed in the hole and gently sprinkle with a LITTLE BIT of soil to cover the seed. 6. Take the corner of a clean tea towel, soak it in the glass of water you saved from step 4, and then use it as way to very gently “rain drop” over the soil you sprinkle over the seed. This will cause the soil that you sprinkled over the seed make contact with the seed. DO NOT PAT THE SOIL DOWN AFTER. 7. Leave pot in a room with temps of 20-28c. Humidity 50%+. 8. Within 3-7 days you will seen a sprout come out of the soil. PLEASE NOTE. This method will allows me not to water the plants again until 21 days after the seed sprouts from the soil. (Approx 26 days total days from first watering).
