I got a handful of seeds from recently growing my friend's old Fuel (NYC Diesel x Cotton Candy) from the early 00's, and it mixing with Cherry Pie from Guru Fire that I also started from seed, via "immaculate conception", meaning The Fuel is notorious for knee-jerk stress reactions, and producing a 'nanner or two...never anything major, just a very modest and respectful amount of pollination has ever occurred
I had a few other varieties going that got it similarly
Out of all of them, the ones that came from combining with The Cherry Pie were 3x the size of the other 5 - 6
...not that I know seed size has anything to do with the characteristics of the plants that come from them, they just piqued my curiosity most
Edit for end of day 7/Week G, all is well. Did nothing more than keep her comfy warm (mid/upper 70°s)
24/0...about 8" - 10" from this led shop light, which these are 2, 2 "bulb" led shop lights, and the "bulbs" aren't diffused like my 4 bulb commercial electric shop light bulbs are...it appears as a string of individual led's inside each bulb...so there may be need for caution with distance w/these. Will be keeping an eye on that
Fertigated as minimum needed so as to not drown/dampen off...just giving a couple cap-fulls of the above ultra light nute mix around the base of the stalk, at the beginning/end of each day
Fine progress. I intentionally only put sprouted seedlings in half filled cups so I can bury more stalk as it grows
...usually until the peat mix reaches a typical "full" level in the cup
All good in the hood. As you can see I plant seeds low so I have room to add more soil for support, in the event that the stalk stretches, or waits a good distance to pop 1st leaves...this 1 stayed stubbie
I'll most likely pop it out & give it some under cushion to grow down into, since it didn't go vertical on top
