Well had a lot of fun making my pot look amazing. There are some things hidden on here right now that will start to be reveled around weeks 4-6.
At that time I will add the rest of the pot for everyone to enjoy.
It's a fun one.
Soaked her in water for 24 hours then planted her right in the Fox Farm - Happy Frog soil. Hopefully in a few days she will POP!!
FYI the cover photo is of my wife's zombie corn tattoo. There is a reason for this. Will have to wait to see the surprise as to why it is relevant.
Girl is a week old today. She is looking great. She popped out of the ground grow almost an inch and already had the first set of serrated leaves in the 1st 24 hrs above ground.
Well she is coming along great. Looks great, very healthy girl.
Can't wait to start revealing what is behind the curtain so to speak.

Wow this week was nerve-wracking. Her roots were well into the toilet part of the pot so it was time to remove all the soil and manipulate the roots for exposure later during the big reveal.
Fingers crossed the makes it. Her being an auto it will stress her into flower but that's okay it's a cannabonsai they are supposed to be small. She still has a couple weeks of growth still so it will be just fine.
The other plants in the shed are getting flipped to flower this weekend she I've put her in the tent with her sisters. Sorry about the blurple but hey.....it is what it is right?
Well I was worried about my girl for most of the last week since I repotted her. But as you can see, she bounced back. Just took her about 5 days.
Roots started spilling over the side so I through some soil on it. The soil will be removed during the reveal when the other roots are exposed.
Big big week. First part of the week popped off a few bud sites. Hate to see them go since this is going to be a low yielder anyway. But I have a vision for it. As you can see in the photos.
She started flowering mid week which was expected due to the very high stress and her being an auto.
Also ROOT REVEAL. Yep you get a sneak peek at to what is below. I'm also working the soil and the roots to help dry them out and hopefully be strong enough to hold her up. The roots for all the way down so we "should" be good to go. Fingers crossed 🤞
Still just feeding water since I added soil to the sided for her to feed on. I have been doing a foliar spray with calmag in it.
Well pretty big reveal this week. You get to see all the shit & roots.....and corn.
Watering the girl proved to be hard to figure out. I've been watering her everyday because of the root reveal. And all that water goes down the pot. So I was worried I would over water.
Well by now you know. I under watered. But I got it all figured out.
I'm not ready to reveal the custom saucer I made yet. I'm still trying to grow these over the bowl roots but they were not ready for any of the reveal so now the exposed ones are tiny and the under the soil ones are much bigger. It is what it is. I will remove the soil on the side roots in the next couple of days so I can position them where I want them then repack with soil again.
Ended up having to remove the bottom two fan leaves. Did not want to put the went complete yellow on me. Oh well.
Right now I'm working on the exterior root. It is turning green so that's awesome. It's going to keep going.
I think I will try to get it to make its way up the drain hole that way I can completely uncover it.
We are on auto-cruise right now. Feed and water everyday. Like watching the side root grow.
For my first cannabonsi I think I've done well so far. Hope I can keep it up.
I'm showing the saucer I made at the start at the grow. That's all you get of it for now until more toward the end of the grow. Had a blast making it.
Still on auto cruise. This girl is doing great. Can't believe mt first cannabonsi has turned out so well so far. I'm giving her Fox farm nutes now. Just giving her some of the nutes my other plants are getting. Flower stuff.
I water till run off with the nute fixture pretty much everyday.
The pot is so small she soaks it up
Was worried about over watering but I've actually under watered several times.
She is starting to swell up. Not going to be a heavy producer but it's all about the looks.
Been a really fun grow. Think this is my new hobby now.
Still on auto cruise. Still giving a water nute solution everyday. Same stuff her sisters are getting.
She should be finished soon. Main cola is starting to fatten up.
Well still on auto pilot for the most part.
Giving her a daily feeding till run off of the nutes my other girls are using. Other than that I'm just checking on her daily.
The main cola is big, fat and pretty dense. Not the hardest but everything considering I'm really happy. It's about the look anyway when it comes to cannabonsi plants.
Finished the roll of butt wipe so that looks pretty cool. Hope to harvest next weekend but we will see.

Been so much damn fun. Bathroom photo shoot turned out great. Very happy with this girl.
Gonna be sad to chop her down.
Pretty happy with the outcome so far. This style of growing will not yield the the most or greatest stuff due to all the stress but it's for the looks.
And this girl looked awesome.
Very happy with this grow and looking forward to doing something else.
Think I will do a photo period next so I have more control.

I've been floating around in here (Grow Diaries) for about two years now and have seen a fair few diaries.

@PHatDriver, Thank you it was a pretty fun grow as well as a fun weekend of shooting the photos. I have the cannabonsi bug now. I just popped 3 beans for 3 new cannabonsi projects so I will be posting them on here as well.

@JayBane, ya I'm still new here at growdiaries but I think you can follow me. I just popped 8 beans for my next regular grow but as soon as they are a little further along I'm going to pop another for a cannabonsai. I just need to get all the supply's.
The contest rules said no transplanting so I had to go against the grain so to speak with what you would typ. do. Right now trying to source some pots. They are a little pricey for nice ones. I think I will just get a cheap plastic one for now. I do have the show piece already for the grow. I picked up a little easter island statue I'm going to run the roots over.

@JayBane, Thank you. Yes this is my first attempt with cannabonsai. Pretty sure I just got lucky with this one. The root on the outside was a after thought when I noticed some of the roots creeping over the side of the pot. so I threw some soil on the side to see what it would do. I have a little soil under the pot to help feed that root and keep it going. It has been a really fun project and I think I'm going to start doing this as a side hobby.
I'm sure I will make lots of mistakes in the next ones but like I said for a first attempt I think I got pretty lucky and its doing really well.
@Mr_Awesome_Badass, haha I love that so much. Would like to know what she knows about corn- all I know is it's a whole grain and yep, that's how it comes out as well 😂

Wife has a weird fascination with corn and the digestive system. She even has a zombie corn tattoo. Think the movie Sausage Party.
So when I found the toilet pot on Amazon the light bulbs went off in my head. So I sculpted a pile of shit with corn. I have a lot more figures and surprises coming. Along with a better story.
