Cold_Farmer Here we go. Starting again this time with the pellets from RQS. Thanks for the seeds and the accessories as well as the nutrients.

Cold_Farmer Right after the first two small leaves grew, I repotted. The taproot was already coming out of the pellet at the bottom, so it had to move into the fabric pot from RQS. The soil was enriched with the organic starter fertilizer provided by RQS. I think this will provide a good foundation for the next few weeks. Based on experiences from the last grows, I immediately bent a support out of wire. Also to keep the seedlings apart. Here is the blue plant 😉

Cold_Farmer 2 weeks. Nothing new to report. Growing well and still has its obligatory support for safety. Blue wire so I can distinguish the plants from the contest. The soil used seems to hold moisture well without appearing wet. The combination with the fabric pot seems to be very good.

Cold_Farmer Week 3:
There's not much to report. She's still growing well and as planned. Maybe it's a bit too cool when the lights are off. Otherwise, I'm satisfied. In the next few days, I'll start with LST and tie her down.
Additionally, I added a bit of "Low Cost Plant Fertilizer 7-3-4" from the discount store to the water to enhance the green color of the leaves.

Cold_Farmer LST is going well, but I'm not happy with the speed of growth anymore. It's probably due to the colder nights. The tent is set up again, but the motor for the ventilation is broken. Damn it.
Additionally, I cut off the tip to get two main stems. This method has always worked for me so far.

Cold_Farmer Week 5, still no pre-flowering in sight. The growth is a bit slow due to the rather low temperature and what seems to be a botched LST. You just have to be patient.
Also, I changed the fertilizer. The nutrient mix in the tablets is definitely much better.

Cold_Farmer At the beginning of week 6, still no signs of flowers. Since I have two autos running at the same time and both are developing the same way, the slow growth is due to the environmental conditions. But I have patience, even if it takes 2 weeks longer...

Cold_Farmer 2 weeks later than usual, it’s finally time. The first signs of flowering are visible. Thanks to the LST, it has remained relatively small with few side shoots. This week, we will be defoliating and trimming smaller shoots. The goal is about 4 to 6 shoots that should produce fat buds.
In contrast to the Purple Punch Auto, this one stretches more and grows less wide. Even though both are treated the same, you can notice the different genetics. But only with the start of the flowering phase...

Cold_Farmer Second week of flowering and I'm pretty satisfied so far. No problems have occurred yet. I've already removed a few leaves and also taken off the lower buds and smaller shoots. This weekend, I'll tie them up again so that light can reach everywhere properly. She's still a bit too compact and tall.

Cold_Farmer Since I have several plants in flowering, I've switched to the Canna schedule. Unfortunately, the fertilizer from the RQS package won't be enough for all of them. However, it worked great during the growth phase.
LST, defoliation, and lollipopping have responded very well. She's growing just as I imagined.

Cold_Farmer I'm very satisfied with the progress. This time, the flowers are forming in the right spots at the top of the shoots. I'm curious to see if I'll finally get big, fat buds this time.

Cold_Farmer It looks like this is going to be a good run in terms of yield. No signs of deficiency.
I'm also sticking to the feeding schedule from Canna this time.

Cold_Farmer This attempt is going damn well. She's growing relatively fast and seems to be forming dense buds now. What I don't really like are the lower leaves. It seems like she's very hungry. But that was the strain in the previous runs too. The leaves always change color about 2 weeks before the harvest.

Cold_Farmer We're slowly getting closer to the harvest. About half of the trichomes are already milky, but I haven't seen any amber ones yet. I wanted to wait this long this time. I think I'll slowly start to reduce the nutrients and begin flushing. I'm a bit surprised that the sugar leaves haven't turned purple yet. The typical appearance of the strain isn't there yet.

Cold_Farmer The last week before the harvest. Now you can really see where the name comes from. The leaves are beautifully purple-colored. The trichomes are almost all milky with a few amber ones here and there. Just as it should be.
The entire week, they only had water with a little Cannazym to drink. I stopped the mineral fertilization since there's still enough organic fertilizer in the soil. I will also prepare the soil this time and use it for another grow.
Now I'm just looking forward to the result.

Cold_Farmer To say it upfront: I have a laughing and a crying eye. At first, I'm a bit down about the quantity with "only" 46 grams, rather disappointed; I had hoped for much more. However, the quality of this harvest is fantastic. Few leaves, but super dense buds with lots of trichomes. The smell is super sweet and visually really purple. One of my best quality harvests.
Conclusion of this round: the proper use of nutrients definitely shows in the quality of the harvest. Unfortunately, it hasn't increased my yield... probably also due to the temperature in the tent and the lighting. To get even more out of it, another investment is needed here. But whether that will improve the ratio of quantity to performance (and costs)... I don't know. However, with an estimated 180g/m2 and 1.2 g/W, I can't complain.
@Mr_Double_Haze, the result of this round is like a good Bordeaux. With age, it gets even better, and you should really take your time and enjoy it. Just opening the jar gives me a big smile every time 😁😁
