Topping has done well. Plants have opened up and starting to look healthier all round except for one cookies gelato, whom doesn't look as healthy.
Gonna have to wait for the 2 autos to finish up before flipping these and adding the scrog net, so another 2 weeks probably
She's smaller than the rest, leaves look dark like a nitro overdosed, always curled down, crispy edges, burnt tips, slightly white on the edges, some white leaf tips, slow growing.... Just bad genetics I guess? Could surprise in flower?
Can try to aerate the medium with a chopstick or massage the pots sides so its loosening it up. It's stressful though and can cause a bit of shock.
I like to water with a smaller sprayer over long periods so its like a soft rain and avoids compacting it as much as possible. And Use Gaia green mostly in my grows, Its a nice products for dry amendments, but I find it need a bit more Magnesium added into the medium.
Cheers,
If this was my grow and I had a plant look like that where all the other plants were fine, I'd follow m0use's advice here and I'd kill it... bad genetics, never going to be good.
Good luck...
If all the other plants are doing fine and its just this one that's shitting the bed, I would say its not unlikely to be genetics but also could be something in that medium.
Maybe that phenotypes roots are not a good as the others and this is the cause of the problems or maybe the medium got compacted and its having a harder time getting oxygen down to them. its really hard to say.
If everything is the same and its just that one that's doing poorly just kill it. No need to wait for it to get WPM or something else because its immune system is weakened. prob will not yield the best either can give more canopy space to the other plants that are doing better. Cant win them all.
ps it would help us out if we knew what you where feeding them, like how much and how often. As well as your mediums composure.
Best Of Luck!
@Fruitgrower, hey it sounds awesome! I want to quit bottled nutrients in the near future. Your recipe sounds consistent and I can see that your plants like it a lot π nice work
@felixthegrower,....My feed is organic dry feeds, I rarely use liquid feed, only in the event of "emergencies" that need a quick fix.... So I add amendments to the soil (recycled and reused) and feed the soil microbes with seaweeds, fulvic and humic acid and molasses π it works for me
