Days 28-35. Plants are responding to their new pots really well- lots of explosive growth this week! Excited to start training a little more vigorously this upcoming week and repotting again in two to three!
Plants are responding really well to training- lots of growth. Had a couple stems split here and there, but not worried since they’re small and will ultimately make them stronger. Going to continue training this week and if the canopy is looking good I plan on flipping at day 49!
This was the final week before the flip! Plants are looking strong and healthy and experienced virtually no transplant shock at all. Did a little bit of defoliation and had a few branches here and there tear/snap during training this week, but all are bandaged up and healing well. So far so good on my first photoperiod run!
Flipped Sunday 12/11 and noticed that all of the girls started growing RAPIDLY. Feels as though they’ve doubled in size the last week. Pistils were visible on all by Tuesday. Trying to keep up and stay vigilant on defoliation and guiding each plant’s branches through the screen. Plants are happy and healthy so far through week one of flower :)
This week I added a second 200w light into the tent for a total of 440w for the flower cycle, noticed lots of explosive growth on all four plants- especially after being defoliated. Running cold air in from outside at all times to keep tent temp down and so it gets a bit chillier at night to help bring out those fall colors asap. Introduced liquid KoolBloom from general hydroponics this week as well to help with PK boost. This grow is going beyond smooth!
Bud growth accelerated a LOT this week and the trichomes are coming in STRONG. Even with my post covid nose she’s starting to smell up the space! Doing a final defoliation today and the rest of this grow will mostly just be me worrying about controlling humidity. Red Hot Cookies has been a breeze to grow thus far
Plants have stopped all vertical growth and seem to be working solely on packing on frost and fattening the buds up. Noticed a little bit of browning on leaf tips on the back two plants so did a one day flush for all plants with plain 6.0pH water. No issues other than that! Smooth growing. A bit disappointed as I’ve not really seen any purple/red colors, but there’s plenty of time left in flower!
Nothing too crazy this week. Changed the feeding schedule just a bit this week according to the cocoforcannabis.com GH chart, girls are packing on frost and getting a bit fatter. Happy to finally see a bit of a color change! They smell INCREDIBLE- every time I open the tent I’m immediately blasted with the smell of creamy sweet fruits and berries. Can’t wait to see how they finish.
Biggest change this week is the front left and back right plants are beginning to take on a deep purple color on many of the upper buds. All 4 plants are definitely fattening up a bit. Tent smells creamy and berry sweet every time I open it up. Can’t wait for harvest!
Nothing too much to report this week! Smell is getting stronger and sweeter + pistils are browning! Going to keep an eye out on the trichomes and plan on harvesting in 1-2 weeks based on what I see!
