CA124 hybrid of the best genetic

OranGoodAng First bend. I'm doing it early so the stem hasn't had time to harden and thicken yet. And right from the start, I let the plant know that it shouldn't "invest" in just one cola, but rather distribute growth hormones across its many. I've been noticing leaf problems for several days now. The surface of the leaf is uneven, with characteristic "claws" at the tips indicating nitrogen overdose and spots on the old ones resembling phosphorus deficiency. The ppm of the solution was approaching 1000, and the pH was at 4. I've had issues multiple times with fertilizers from plantators. Meanwhile, my friends grow with them without any problems, but I immediately start experiencing some imbalances. I've switched to the much-loved and most convenient - Simplex fertilizers. We'll see how it goes.

OranGoodAng Finally figured out the ventilation for the plants. In a few days, the soundproof tape will arrive. I’ll tweak the exhaust a bit and change the carbon in the filter. Day 6 since switching to 12/12. It's growing actively, but I'm bending it into a carpet since I've had issues with the height of the box before. So it's better to keep it smaller this time)) From experience, I can say it will take more than 10 days before it starts flowering. During this time, it will probably stretch the box a few more times. I'm currently using Simplex Coco nutrients at a minimal dose for veg. The plant seems to be doing well, and the ppm in the drainage isn’t rising. So we’re moving forward))) The only issue is the lack of proper ventilation for the plant. I’ll have to figure something out about that any day now.

OranGoodAng 31 day old. There's no color yet, but there's growth on the turbo! Right now, it's behaving like a sativa to an embarrassing degree. I had to wrap it up three times and lower it a bit. I've created whole vines there. I'll give it a day to straighten up and trim some leaves to improve aeration. I checked the genetics of this hybrid. The mother has the strain Bubba Kush, whose genetics are not entirely clear, but according to some data, there’s white widow in the parents. So, the behavior in pre-flowering strongly resembles that infamous widow. I'm very curious to see what happens in the end and if the "purple" phenotype will come through. 🧐

OranGoodAng Day 33. (Week 1/Day 1 of flowering) I'm counting today as the start of flowering, even though there wasn't a sharp transition. I guess this is just how sativas flower. While indicas start flowering right away, this one has been in the process for about three days now. Even now, I'm not ready to say it's fully in bloom. Overall, the structure of the buds and colas is completely different from indicas. Those have buds that stick out like water lilies from a bunch of leaves, while here they look like lollipops on sticks, kind of 😁 These past two days, I've been actively battling with it in terms of bending. I managed to shape something somewhat presentable. Although in the middle of the plant, there's a sort of dip without big colas, but a lot of lower branches have popped up, so the space won't go to waste. It drinks like crazy. Today, in 10 hours, it drank more than 2 liters. I had to water it twice in one day. Almost right after turning the lights on and just before turning them off. I'm glad to see that it seems to have slowed down in growth, but knowing sativa genetics, I expect another 10cm of growth. Humidity is high. Sometimes up to 70% - not great, but so far not critical...

OranGoodAng 2nd week, 1 day of flowering (2w/1d) She's just growing and growing. I expected her to grow 10cm. But I've already done a major bend twice since then. So she has grown almost 40cm after that. This is some kind of hell 🤪. I'm really disappointed in this girl. Not only is she growing like crazy, but there’s also no "sugar" on her at all. And there's no smell either. I wouldn't be surprised at all if some crappy genetics, like ruderalis, slipped through....😢

OranGoodAng I completely stopped bending them. The buds have started to grow wider. I noticed that where there is a lot of light (close to the lamp), the buds are smaller than a bit further away. And where the branches are close to the lamp, the tips are starting to go albino. It's not too bad, but not great either. Such buds contain slightly less THC and are a bit less aromatic. Other than that, nothing serious. The humidity is very high, but there's nothing that can be done about it now. Since the plant has practically filled the entire box. At night it reaches 80, during the day around 70. I don't know if I'll be able to avoid mold, but we'll see how it goes 🤷‍♂️ It's drinking really well right now. Up to 4 liters a day. So that's the answer to where all this humidity comes from 😏 I added extra light on the side. 50 watts, two panels on a heatsink. Just to help the buds develop a bit from the bottom. I don't want to end up with a bucket of popcorn.

OranGoodAng I'm having a really problematic cycle. At first, I couldn't adjust the main fan to blow on the buds, and out of desperation, I put it down low. But two days ago, I managed to reposition it so that it blows on the "most important" parts, and as a result - in just two days, all the buds have suddenly become denser. But the aeration problem remains. Inside the bush - it's a jungle... And the humidity is a bit high at 60-70%. An even tougher problem has emerged. Due to growing in the fall and the location of the apartment, it seems a lot of pollen has blown into the house. As a result, there will be a sea of seeds 😔, you can already see the buds forming... Damn it... 😡

OranGoodAng Everything is fine. The filter isn't working. Humidity is around 60%. The buds are growing, but in my opinion, they're a bit airy. Many of the colas on top have thin buds, and the branches themselves are only a couple of millimeters thick. So it's unclear what the final result will be and what will develop. We still have at least three weeks of feeding to go. Keeping our fingers crossed to avoid mold, but I suspect that at least inside the bush it might appear because it's a mess in there...

OranGoodAng The buds are seriously swelling. And they smell really strong. When you open the door, the aroma fills the whole place, you can even smell it in the hallway: flushed:. It's scary to open it. If you touch it, the smell is so intense it almost gets you high. What a crazy girl!!!! Just need to hold on for a couple more weeks and then we can chop it down. OranGoodAng I switched to water. Overall, I could have fed them for another week, but there's a big risk of mold, that's one. Secondly, some of the colas are already fully ripe. If there was a place to dry them, I could harvest in a couple of rounds, letting the lower "popcorn" mature a bit. In general, of course, the plant is still drinking very actively, which is a sign that it's still strong and alive.
