x2 Seeds germinated via wrapping in damp kitchen roll. After 48 hours the seeds had taproots showing and were placed into coco coir seedling plugs. After about 36 hours they had sprouted BUT both had little seed helmets stuck on them. They were each placed into a humidity dome and about 35 inches under the 900W Phlizon LED lights on Veg mode. After another 24hours I hoped the shell helmets would have absorb moisture and softened via humidity enabling the cotyledons to break free. They were still stubborn and not showing any sign of breaking out of their seed helmets so i took action and gently assisted in widening the crack in the seed helmet using two toothpicks.
The Cotledons popped out with some very very tiny baby first leaves beginning to show and looked happy.
Coco coir plugs were placed into a 12Litre pot filled with Canna Coco Professional with a 10% perlite mix and covered with a humidity dome. Seeds were planted towards the edge of the pot so that it can be LST tie down in the near future.
Distilled Water PH'd to 6.5 as recommended by FastBuds for this strain.
Temps 23C-24C
Humidity 70% ish
Gave them their first feed at 1/4th strength. Added a little calmag because I saw some marks show up on one plants first leaves. I think it may be calcium deficiany? If anyone could confirm please 🙏🙏
3rd node will be popping out in the next day or two.
Also I am giving nutes, Then next time will just be ph'd water. Then next time will be nutes and then ph'd water again so on while slowing increasing the nutraint percentage over the coming weeks.
It’s hard to tell from the pictures. But I’d start by checking (and double checking) your PH. I’d check the PH of the runoff and go from there. If it’s not a PH issue you’ll know it’s a deficiency and can make a better diagnosis.
Really begining to take shape now and can see small yet noticiable difference in size almost every day.
LST tie down to begin around day 21.
Slowly been sneaking up nute dosage from 1/4 strength. Still under 1/2 dosage strength though for now and will increase again if needed around week 3/4
Watering 1L per plant around every 3-4 days at the moment.
Started LST tie down just after the end of week 2. The girls are doing good in response to it.
Few tip burned leafs on some of the older leaves which got snipped off.
Still feeding at about 50% strength in comparison with the recommended amount on the nutritiant box.
I think there's a either a excess or deficiany of magnesium on some of the older fan leaves. I think I might flush if someone can confirm it is excess.
Do i have a magnesium problem? Excess or deficiency ? Some of the fan leaves have what i describe as faint, lightly coloured tiger stripes coming through. 4th picture in my week 3 diary for reference. Should i flush?
Mixed feelings this week.
I may have screwed up.
Trimmed off a few of the leaves at the bottom, maybe about 7-8 leaves off each plant.
Space was getting tight in my tent, and leaves were starting to bend against the sides of the tent wall.
Being a rookie, I didn't know what I was doing too much in terms of not stressing the plant before its shift to flower. I noticed the Pistils in between the nodes as soon as I chopped the leafs off nd now I'm panicking if I may have stressed it before it's big stretch? I feel like I should have done it a week earlier perhaps. I did it about day 28 from seed.
Also should I untie the bands holding the plant down now? I don't really want to stress then anymore via LST at this point while I'm concerned about this. Please comment your thoughts.
Started it's first bit of Boost Accelerator to its feed. Upped the Calmag slightly since some old leafs showed signs of deficiany setting in.
Dropped PH from 6.5 to 6.3
Drinking 2L per plant every 3-4 days at the minute.
Plants have recovered from their hair cut last week and have now begun to grow pretty fast. I think they have the strong genetics to thank for that.
I'm running out of room in my tent and have had to raise my fan to clear over the plants.
You can see bud sites forming now. I really hope this is successful come harvest time.
Smell is getting much stronger in the tent but the carbon filter is doing a good job at hiding it from the surrounding area.

My second plant is about a week behind the first. The bud sites are only really beginning to form on the second plant now so I didn't bother including it in the photos this week.
Upped the feed a little and dropped the rhizotonic right down. Not bothered with Calmag the past week or so as not showing signs of needing for a few weeks now.

So this week its been interesting watching Plant 1 begin to develop its buds. Few trichomes appearing on the leaves around the buds. Hopefully these are going to get super frostyyyyyyyy.
Plant 2 is boring me. Seems to be really behind on beginning to develop its buds. Don't know if its a complete fail or if its just slow. Time will tell.
Plants are getting abit more thirsty. Starting to drink 2Liters per plant every 2-3 days.
If anyone has any advice please comment below - I'm a complete noob at this

Plant 1's buds are slowly thickening up and filling out.
Plant 2 is behind a week or two.
Spotted some mega cal deficiant leaves on plant 2 at the bottom of the plant. Really old 3 piece leaf. Probably an indication as to why its so far behind on growth. Snipped the leaf off and re introduced calmag to feed.
Felt like now might be the time to add a little PK 13/14 to plant 1 for just one feed only. Probs won't add anymore again - Advised from a friend.
First timer here but I'm worried this is a hermie?
Not sure when this would have happened if it is. It's on day 58 from seed in the pics here.
Absolutely gutted if it is ☹️
I see no indication this is a Hermi, the things that look like balls are swollen calyx and that's normal in female plants.
Balls will be attached by a small stem and tend to hang downwards vs pointing up like calyx's . They also do no have pistils coming out of them and are not to be covered in trichomes.
In short, your in the clear, no hermi, no male parts, keep up the good work for a nice harvest :D

Pretty satisfied so far with the development of plant 1.

No idea when to flush or how much time left on Plant 1. Assuming it's got at least another 3 weeks to go.
Lightly manouvered some branches on Plant 2 to help light penetration.
Tent stinks and its lovely.
I'm happy with my results so far considering this is my first grow.
A week into flushing.
Very sticky frosty buds. Feel fairly dense. Some light purple starting to come through on the edges of the buds.
Plant 1 is looking great
Plant 2 was behind a few weeks and i'm probably going to have to chop it early OR purchase a separate drying tent w/ carbon filter for plant 1 to dry in while plant 2 finishes off etc but its not worth it for one plant.
Almost 2 weeks into flushing.
Leaves are starting to turn yellow as the plant uses up those leftover nutritiants.
Plant 2 not shown in this week's pics but it looks very similar.
Trichomes are mostly milky with only a few clear ones left. Not spotted any obvious Amber ones yet with the magnifier. Another week or so I assume before harvest but will monitor for change.
No idea what weight I'd get out of these plants. A couple of Oz and I'll be happy 😊

Bloody heck. What a journey.
We are ready to chop in 48 hours or so. Just want a few more Amber trichomes. 3 week flush comes to an end tomorrow. Expecting it to taste amazing. The smell is so loud!

Honestly it's been so fun growing these. I was anxious as this was my first run, however Gorilla Cookies have super resilience to any of my idiotic beginner mistakes. They smell super loud. Nice purple on the buds and super frosty. Trimming was sticky sticky!!
