Boulderbob The plants are less stunted than in the first run. Overall, again a very good germination rate. 28 out of 29!

Boulderbob 2. The second round has started after 4 weeks of the first one. Under a platform with a maximum height of 120cm. Now almost 5 weeks have passed and the biggest plants are slowly facing height issues, but they can be moved into the tent if needed; the plants there can be rearranged... Some tests are running, one is the cultivation with Bio-Tabs and the associated components. These plants are by far the biggest, although they have the most stretch. There are only 2 plants, one is equipped with an air dome, which for some unknown reason has not been activated yet, the pump is there, the hose is connected, but... 6 plants are in 6-liter pots and have developed as expected so far, just like the rest. I will report back... We are waiting for the first harvest and then 32 plants will go into the tent. Pot to pot, so we can talk about SOG. The information about working with 5 plants on 1.44m², as stated by Fastbuds, is simply not true; too many plants remain way too small, hardly larger than the pot... If the SOG experiment doesn’t work out, the plants will be set back to 9 pieces/1.44m², but then all side branches will be bent outward and we’ll see what that brings. Due to the likely 6-week rhythm/harvest, many experiments and changes are of course possible, which greatly accelerates development. Good things are optimized, bad ones improved gradually, from harvest to harvest. It’s really fun. The next round will probably start in 8-15 days.

Boulderbob !!! We have another experiment: 2 plants in Bio-Bizz Light mix with Bio-Tabs system. These two ladies are by far the most developed. Bigger, longer, and so far also with significantly more gr buds than all the others on Plagron soil with the specified nutrients. !!!

Boulderbob The plants look identical to the first run.... The exception is the plants in Bio-Bizz Light-Mix with Biotabs, which are by far the biggest and healthiest of all the previous plants. No matter how they do until the end, the third run has been completely switched to this system. Watering with clear water is a huge relief, now we’ll see how they develop... The two ladies with Bio-Tabs are still way ahead. Now it’s time to get serious, starting to flush tomorrow and adding sugar and sugar :)

Boulderbob The number of plants is perfect on a tray with 16 pieces, you can clearly see how the plants are not in each other's way and are developing splendidly... something different on the right tray, there are the two large plants as an experiment on BioTabs and then 6 plants in 7L pots, these are nice, with a long stem without branches and a beautiful large bloom, very interesting to have 36 pieces on 120x120, plus 5 plants that have also received microorganisms and are getting huge. This is being observed. If these plants also have large blooms and average 100g on the scale, then it's definitely a variant to work with 3x3, so 9 plants instead of 16... Back to the growth pattern, due to the different growth types caused by the type of nutrients, the field is wild and you have to wait and see what the results tell... but.... exciting exciting :)

Boulderbob Everything looks very similar to Gorilla Cookies 1... accordingly, I'm curious if the transformation from: Looks like it needs another 2 weeks to : Ready! Please harvest! will happen again in the next 3 days... Again with 2x385 watts / 770 watts and I'm curious about the yield, ..harrrrrrr😜 The temperatures are better under control. This is drawn in from outside and is accordingly fresh to cold, depending on the weather. The intake hose was laid through the room to warm up the air moving in it, which was half successful. Only when the diameter of the hose was increased from 160 to 250mm did the airspeed and the heat absorption seem to be in harmony: it's running :) What will never be skipped again is a filter fleece in the intake tract: Small creatures and dirt thus have no chance of getting into the plantation from the outside.😁

Who has experience with BioTabs products and can tell me to what extent the soil can be reused and if it's true that the soil gets better each time? Does anyone know the difference between peat soils and peat-free soils? I'm looking forward to the responses...

Yes I used to use the Biotabs line. When you want to reuse the soil you need to use Enzyme that break down the old roots and organic materials inside the soil. I prefer to not reuse the soil and use a new fresh lightmix from the start so that you know exactly what and how many nutrients are in the soil. When the balace between the bacteria and fungi from a product like Biotabs are out of balance makes it really hard to bring it back to a balanced condition. I made this mistake before because I hears the same that the living soil would be more living and providing for the plant but like I said I prefer to start with a fresh light mix soil. Yeah sure but instead of writing a very long story here I will send you a article about both types of soil and the benefits from both different types soil. https://www.thegardensuperstore.co.uk/advice-and-inspiration/peat-vs-peat-free-choose-the-right-potting-compost
