Clone just planted into a solo cup in coco/perlite. Looks healthy with good color. I will leave in the solo cup for a week then transplant into 1 gallon pot.
I had to back off the nutes this week because my EC was way too high at runoff. I did a full flush, now I am feeding a week solution and will increase slowly. I am watering everyday to runoff and PHing the water. PH has been fine even though the EC has been high.
I have been doing a lot of defoliation this past week and fighting aphids! I started spraying with Lost Coast but moved up to Dr. Zymes. I think I have them under control, we shall see in another 10 days. Plants have been looking a little sad, so far I’m not that impressed with the New Millenium nutrients. They are a lot to mix and they seem kind of funky? They have lots of chunks of stuff in them and one appears to have mold. I’m am switching back to Flora Flex next week. I may continue using the Ruby and Carb one later in flower though. She is starting to fill out the scrog finally, I will keep them in veg for one more week, then flip.
I flipped the girls to flower this past Saturday and changed back to Floraflex nutrients. The New Millenimum line up was not performing like FF did on my last grow so I bailed. Still battling aphids, I have been spraying Dr. Zhymes but if it doesn’t get rid of the problem in another week, I will have to get a fogger. Over all, everyone looks good. This one has a lot of new growth and it is filling in the screen nicely.
Plants are still fighting aphids this week. I am applying Dr. Zhymes at full strength now every day making sure I get the underside of the leaves. A few of the plants are showing signs of aphid damage like curling leaves and black tips. I had to do a full flush last week as well because my EC crept up too high. I will be decreasing the nutes a bit this week to keep the levels at the correct EC. This plant is looking pretty good as well. She is stretching nicely, filling the screen and is handling the aphids better than the others.
This plant is doing much better than last week. She is in full flower and stretching nicely. I still have a few leaves that are curling and have brown tips but neatly as bad as before. No aphids so far, but I am going to spray tonight as a preventative. I am also going to add extra cal/mag but keep the nutes on the weaker side. Instead of the recommended 2 grams, I’ve been using closer to 1.6 so the slats don’t build up as much. I am also going to start adding Terpinator from here on out and maybe some of the Ruby from Millenium. I also added a second scrog to the tent to support the branches as the buds stack up.
The plants look so much better this week and the aphids are gone. I honestly did not think these plants would make it but they have rebounded and are back on track. Stopping the Dr. Zhymes spray helped, adding extra phosphorus rich nutrients has helped as well. The Dr. Zymes was really hard on the foliage but it did kill the aphids. I am now spraying Lost Coast every few days as a preventative, as well as Seaweed/Photosynthesis. I started the Terpinator and Molasses this week to help with terpene production and I increased the humidity to about 60%.
This plant is getting so sticky! She is looking very healthy, lots of bud sites and the aphids seem to be gone. Still waiting on some sort of distinct smell to develop. Overall, it’s been a good week.
This plant is really started to turn amber on me. She is barely showing a fade but I may have to chop her this weekend. I wanted the buds to stack up more but I may run the risk of her going to amber. I may start the flush this weekend. Super sticky, moderate smell.
