Karen - King's Kush Auto [G2]

Welcome to week 10 Karen! She's still stretching a bit but most of her efforts have changed to bud and trich production. She's gotten more frosty every day in the last week. Speaking of last week, that is now complete so go check it out! Daily updates mean the week isn't done until the next week begins. Day 64: Fertigated 4l and did a bit of light defoliation. Day 65: Still piling on frost. It's appearing along the fan leaves now. Day 67: Frost accumulation continues and buds beginning to fatten. Each cola pictured is a different one. Today is the day I said I would do final defoliation and LST. I will be doing that shortly, I am also planning to do some with Nesia and Misty. I have been lazy with feeding - three days dry - will also fertigate. Day 67.5: Fertigated 3l. Defoliated and adjusted LST. Day 68: Took some comparison shots of Karen and Nesia just to show how crazy Nesia is. Buds are rapidly swelling and trich production in full swing. Starting to think we might only be a couple of weeks away. Day 70: Alright so this was frost week. She looks like she's been snowed on. Exciting aromas coming from her now and exciting visuals too. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. End of week summary: This week marked the final 1cm of stretch followed by almost the whole week of just bud and trichome development. Karen is now quite frosty, but she has not finished yet. This is the part of the grow I have been most excited about. If my theories are correct and my experiments with the companions work, then she should continue to frost here, and end up looking and being way more frosty than the buds in the brochure. This next week will probably determine that. I really wish I had a newer phone or a camera, my photography is not doing my garden justice. Karen could not have more colas or bud sites, every little bit of her is absolutely bursting with buds, and the trichome production, as you can plainly see, has really accelerated. Here at day 70 is the first time I have looked at her and had that "twinge of butterflies" about what she might yield. I have been making various estimations and guesses throughout the grow (well after she recovered). I think she is going to yield over 100g.
