Ya, you could be running your big light on them from that distance....otherwise, lower your 20w light to within about15-20cm.

Don’t worry about it to much. My rapid rooters will get green algae from keeping them to moist. You can cover them so light doesn’t hit them, or just let them dry out more. They just need to be slightly damp. I use to over water them, now I know I can apply a few drops of water daily or twice a day until roots break the net pot then I let them dry out completely.

Move the irrigation system (those red things) to the outside of the pot. When you do this the roots get enough oxygen and they need to search for the water inside the pot. And while doing this they develop and become bigger.

The roots do not get enough oxygen. You might think that is not possible in your hydro setting. But the roots are not outside of the peat pellet yet and will not develop this way because you keep the pellet soaking wet. Move the water system to the outside of the pot so that the peat pellet can dry out and the roots can get some oxygen.

They'll darken up as they get a little older... new growth is always a lighter shade of green. I AM seeing a bit of a potassium deficiency starting (edges of some of the leaves are getting brown) so you might want to add in a good PK booster which shouldn't raise your EC that much... I'm actually surprised she can't tolerate a higher EC at this point - but I think that's more of a reaction to what is comprising the EC rather than the actual reading.... in other words, if you had a lot of nitrogen in your nute solution versus reducing the nitrogen and pumping up the PK, she might not react badly to it at all... Just a thought - at least that's what I find in my DWC grows... Good luck!

Your question is valid. Yes EC can go down when the plants are given right nutes, and the concentration of ions in the solution is almost exactly what the plant need or less. Another case: EC can go down when wrong nutes are mixed together or right nutes mixed wrong way. In such case there’s salt build up. The first case is yours I hope. Plants are clearly having Magnesium and what’s unlikely for hydroponics, Potassium deficiency. When you have K deficiency in hydro that’s the clear sign of too low EC given to plant (of course if NPK ratio is adequate). Because in general Potassium deficiency never occurs in hydro (if growing technology is followed correctly). You need to raise up EC accordingly to the size of the plant and it’s growing stage. Currently they are in flowering which takes the most of energy to produce buds. 350 ppm (0.7 EC) is too low for early flowering. It’s even too low for early veg, imho. You’re giving them incredible mix of nutes from different brands which also may lead into some nute lockout. It’s always better to stick to one brand (grow, bloom, CalMag, ph up/down). They will not grow better when you add so many enhancers and stimulators. In fact to achieve good results, the list of nutrients can be very short: Grow, Bloom, CalMag, pH up/dn, Fulvic acid, and sugars during flowering.
