Boulderbob The seeds aren't coming up, very disappointing... We're planting 20 new seeds and we'll see what happens, a new heated greenhouse and eazy OPlugs should help solve the task in a controlled manner. By the end of week 2, the little girls are slowly coming out of the soil and starting to grow cautiously...

Boulderbob And once again, I’ve planted some seeds. Ultimately, as you know, the seed harvests turn out differently, and these are just not germinating well... now the little girls are starting to grow, and the show begins. The focus is whether the plants will all be similar in size, like the two ladies from the last report, even though it’s a different strain. As you can see in the last photos from the Cookies 2 run, there are 5 more plants that are extraordinarily green and strong. These were also exposed to microorganisms, unlike with BioTabs, but more on that later. Another focus is on the watering. Cookies 2 has 2 plants in AutoPots, and that worked so well that now all plants have been treated with BioTabs and also received drainage from clay balls. In 10 days, the trays will be flooded with water, and the Aqua Valve System should help with that, a clever system, in this case without the Auto Pot chassis, because the open water surface should help make the very dry air at 40% a bit more humid... let’s see what comes of it, but the chances look good... Now you can see the offset of the germinations; there are still 4 more in the glass of water... and then everything should be full again... having all spots occupied is an important component for good harvests. Many fail at this! For the first weeks, I’ll be using Samsung panels. For me, the best price/performance lamp available. The 240W for 80x80, 2 of them are enough for 120x120 for the autos and only need 80% power... the light distribution is perfectly fine due to the 120° beam angle; if the plants grow sideways, just adjust the controller for a bit more power until the ladies are also reaching straight up at the edges... In the tent, I have Evos hanging because I really wanted to try them out; in my opinion, the best innovation of all lamps ever. Ideally, the Samsung LEDs should be in there, but Sanlight then built this mix with, among other things, Osram LEDs... very nice, and it seems the guys have heard the growers' hearts... Growking lamps are not used here at all; if you want the best light quality, you can’t get around these lamps, there were just too many for me, and there’s no option for dimming... in the other half of the tent, there are Sanlights from the Q series hanging, super lamps, but the mass you have to hang up is actually no fun at all; light quality is very good, beam angle not... now they’re just hanging there because they were available...

Boulderbob Clear water is poured without pH adjustment, and as soon as all the plants in a tray are big enough, the watering from below begins. I'm really looking forward to that... The latecomers are up to 4 weeks behind. The first ones are already starting to flower, and the last ones have just germinated :) From now on, there will be exciting new breeds; the free spots will be filled with new strains. A big advantage of autoflowers is being able to grow and flower new plants anywhere at any time :) So far, there have been no visits from any non-plant creatures or disturbances due to deficiencies or excesses. The easiest grow ever.

Boulderbob The excitement remains, the focus is shifting: Growing with fungi and bacteria, active microorganisms is starting to take hold. The more active the soil life, the stronger and healthier the plants. Bio Tabs products come highly recommended. You can't get more organic than this. Everyone is curious about the taste.
