I started off with water that had a high pH. I am using RO water so I thought it was okay. I think the (new-build) Pex lines are increasing the pH. pH is 8. After noticing the plants are stunted.... I used Gen. Hydro. pH down to get the pH to 6.5.
The plants did not turn around after using the 6.5 pH water.
The color looks yellow-ish and the plants are not growing like they should.
After another week, I added Homegrown Canna Co. - Root Guardian to try and encourage root growth to see if I could save them.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with these plants and can they be saved? Should I start over?

Soil is Back to the Roots
It is too wet. Soil goes through a wet and dry cycle. You can add about a 40 percent perlite to your mix for transplant. The roots need air as much as they need water and nutrients.
If they do get to much water these small mishap early on can have some issues down the road but you won't notice it unless its compared to other plants who did not get water logged. I almost always over water once a grow at some point in its life and I'm happy with my yields. I would not worry to much about it and keep on trucking.
Good Luck!
You’re fine. They don’t look stunted and it won’t be harmful if it’s corrected going forward.
Just be conscious of it going forward. They look healthy and fine. That soil mix could be worrisome tho - I’d mix in some perlite or something like that if you use the same stuff when you transplant.
The great thing about photoperiod plants is time can heal pretty much all issues if the correct course is taken..
Good luck
I wouldn't say they are stunted. If you keep over watering they will end up being stunted. Cut some slits or poke some holes in the bottom of the cups, let the substrate dry up a bit before deciding if they are stunted. They could all be fine.
