The transplant went well.
All 4 seem happy. Only time will tell.
💨 Here's to their future 💨
12 hour seed soak
12 hour damp paper towel in the dark
Planted in solo cups
Will transplant to 3 Gal pots in a few days
Noticing a little yellow tinge to the leaves, I believe I watered a bit too much. Backed off on the water by a quarter, for now.
I seem to notice that when I transplant, it takes longer to get to a higher water intake than if plant directly into the pot.
I'm also used to growing in a 5 Gal pot, so I have to remember I'm in a 3 Gal this time, it makes a difference, in my opinion. Happy Growing!!! 🌱
Hight of these 4 are all over the place.
Front left is the RUNT standing at only 4 1/2 inches tall.. Back left is the leader of height standing at 10 inches.
The other 2 are in the 6-7 1/2 inch space.
I added a Tent Pic, All growing conditions, soil base and nutrients are the exact same. Believe it or not The Forgotten Cookies is only 4 days older than all the others.
If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer. Happy Gardening! 🌱🌱🌱
Everything is looking great. No abnormal signs of nut deficiencies or overages.
I'm very happy so far with this grow.
Kis Organics soil amendments have come through AGAIN.
Starting to flower, starting to get some odor, which is sooo sweet.
Tent shot day 30 will show the Forgotton Cookies (Three up the right side)
I have removed the bottom third of the branches of the plants. I've done this procedure a few times and it's been benifcial for higher yeild as well as easier harvesting, as most strains will grow small buds that are just a royal pain in the ass to work with. So in this case, I force the plant to use more energy on the major buds instead of wasting energy on little bastard ones. Only my opinion. 🍃
Sorry for the delay in my diary. Getting prepared for hurricane Florence. Thankfully all the girls made it through fine!!! Scary shit when you've got this going on. Anyway..
Here's the progress.
for weeks 5-6
Day 31. increased Mammoth P to 0.5ml per gallon
It's getting a bit humid for my liking. I don't want to risk bud rot. So I Put and extra fan in the room where the tent is. and bumped the AC up 2° . seems to be helping, more to come on that
Week 6 went pretty well, no issues, just doing their thing. Smell has increased some as the buds start to take off. All Orange Diesels are getting 1400ml every other day.
Coming along very well. I am thrilled with the progress of this grow. It's great that it's basically only water also. All the nurients are already included in the soil. Nearly no mixing or measuring nutrients.
During Hurricane Florence, lost power during daylight hours, In this situation I attached 6 LED Battery powered lights to the lightbar in the tent. Lost power for a total of 10 hours.. But, everyone seems to be doing great.
I've also included a picture of the lightbar and filter being used in this grow.
Enjoy! 🍃
I've grown 6.... 5 gallon girls in this tent.
But, Yes Indeed.. This one is going to be the biggest and fullest tents I've ever done. We'll see. Thanks for joining my journey!!! 👍🌱
Yellowing has resolved. Overwatering was the culprit.
Added recharge to the water today, Day 19 Once weekly, regular dose, following package directions. Will continue to use Recharge and Mammoth P throughout entire grow.
The soil being used in this grow has been super soil amended with Kis Organics. This was an organic medium to start with. It also has an added 50/50 mix of a product called Neem and Karanja made by Build a Soil.. Added amount is 1/4 cup per 3 Gal pot.
This will be the 2nd grow in this same soil, using an amendment. The first grow in this soil, with the same amendment, yeilded 1.5 to 2 oz per plant in a 5 Gal (3.5-3.8 Gal respectively) air pot. These will be transplanted into 3 Gal fabric pots, in a few days.
