beginning of the First week of flower. the big 3 are the REVEG UK cheese the middle back plant is a random seed that lived outside near a street light that prevented it from budding. seeing if i can bring it back to full flower, so far so good. the UK cheese are doing great starting to spit pistils out very vigorous growth .

End of week 1 flower Beginning of week 2 -UK cheese still growing great. streching has seemed to stop. starting to develop nice colas. -The bag seed plant is doing ok. growing vigorously on 3 of her branches and 1 of them has seen little growth only spitting out a couple new pistils seems to have stalled. all the the off shoots are starting to frost up as nicely was kind of a experiment to see what happens if a plant had lots of light pollution during flower, if it could be brought back she did have very very small buds when i brought her inside. she was also outside until November 18th in buffalo, NY weather and that has been about high 40s down to low 30s and she didn't die. its a tough girl for sure.

End of week 2 flower beginning of week 3 the bag seed plant took off really bulking up. Had to do alot of defoliation this week for air flow. smell is slowly getting stronger. Everything has been going great for my first grow, I'm really happy with everything so far. Watering has been the same still doing a full strength feed-water-feed routine while also keeping an eye on PPM and watering twice if i have to

End of week 3 flower beginning of week 4. week 3 saw a lot of defoliating and LST to give them girls some room to breath they were too dense and i was seeing a spot or 2 of mildew. spot treated with neem oil and dish soap. so far so good. this week everything is developing nicely. uk #3 starting to get very light green, supplementing small amounts of nitrogen for the time being, has been improving. starting to smell real nice. love the smell of this strain. STRAIGHT CHEESE. The bag seed got cut down was making super larfy buds and i needed the space for the others

it's just in the air. it can overwinter on twigs, leaves, other organic material. here's one of the better summaries i found that isn't based on some monkey in their basement, like me. https://extension.psu.edu/powdery-mildew The organic home remedies suck a dick. i've tried them all. Anything that would be effective is probably not wise to use in bloom... so you have few options. continue to search through canopy and remove infected bits... use some sort of baking soda or h2o2 foliar spray often. It'll look like it does something for a day or two, but you quickly realize all it does is hide it from your eyes.. it's still there. i'm hoping a long break will allow me to get rid of whatever remaining spores there are.. i've had an issue for a while now. even though i'm not growing harvest crops year round, there are mothers and other side projects occurring that can allow it to persist... but 3months off after a very throrough cleaning should help. crossing fingers it's not wintering in hvac, lol.... maybe sulfur bomb the room after harvest.... once it's there you aren't getting rid of it. when you see it, it's been there 4-7 days in that spot alone. it's already spread by that point whether you can see it or not.. the fight is on... keep it at bay as best you can. I throw out any infected bits, but you could attempt an h2o2 bud wash when done too.. this will do nothign to the mycelium network that is underneath top layer of leaf/stem/petioles/buds etc.. so, don't think it "sanitizes" wpm.. cause it does not. it will reduce it. that is about all it ever does. you need somethign like 2-3% soaking for 30mins or more for this material and a little dip is not going to do it... soaking it that long will virtually remove all flavor, in my experience, and not worth it. definitely becareful of using it for any extracts... super high alcohol % might kill it, but you'll still have leftover spores and bits in your extract even if not viable to grow anymore. theer's no "good" way to use infected material unless you want to rip people off and make them wheeze and cough for a few days.

end of week 4 flower, beginning of week 5. week 4 involved battle with powdery mildew i defoliated some more added more wind and gave light coats of baking soda water to attempt to get rid of the WPM with out ruining final product taste. had to thin #2 down alot more then id like but it was needed for the air flow. idk why i have such an issue with WPM i see other grows and the tents are packed with leaves and plant and i cant even have 2 leaf's touch i keep a clean and tidy operation, after i water i go back and ruffle up the top layer of soil so it drys quickly and has air, never leave dead leaves in the tent the whole 9. I'm quite particular haha. So i added silica to the feed to try to build plant immunity. bloom microbes and enzymes all from NPKs RAW line up. so far i am happy with raw. although i don't have much of any exp with nutes also finally got around to wire tucking the tent and clean up the wire mess i had

had to harvest WPM was getting to the point to where i could not keep it at bay with defoliation and i didn't want to lose everything. kind of a bummer but its the first grow and I'm happy with the results. this stuff stinks soooo good. its like a cheesy gas with some lemon or citrus. the terps are to die for. i harvested 1/1/23 they had a 5 day dry at roughly 45 to 55% RH. starting the cure the day of this post. i will update on the smoke and final product. weight after dry was 110 grams. basically 4oz the weight going into the jars is 104g the other 6 grams was pop corn that i made wax with UPDATE: a week into cure and jars are maintaing between 62% and 64% RH. the final dry weight is 92.53G-3.30oz
