Day 6 (10 from putting in paper). Looking a bit long and one got an extra leaf. Should I be worried its bad genetics? Lamp at 24 inch (60 cm) at 50%. Should I raise it to 100% to stop the stretching?

Bring your lights down closer to her - maximum of 18"... if you're really concerned about her flopping over, you can either put a little stick (toothpick?) next to her and gently - with lots of wiggle room - tie her to it... OR you could add more soil around her so she's further into it... roots will start growing from the stem that's now under the soil. As far as transplanting autos, it's a really bad idea, especially for beginners.. it's a stressful "technique" and autos don't like that - next time, they should be germinated in the pot they're going to spend their whole life in... I'd just plan to grow her out in the 1 gallon myself... the problem is that if you wait until she has a decent root system (couple of weeks), she's going to be ready to go into pre-flower and you don't want to disturb that timing by shocking her with the transplant. Her soil also looks a bit dry but perhaps that's just when you took the photo... You should be watering in a fairly wide circle around her - not watering right up against the stem... this will encourage the roots to expand out as they seek water but will still moisten the soil right around the stem, not keeping it wet... And don't introduce nutes until she's about 2 weeks old... start her off at 1/4 strength to see how she tolerates them. You can increase the dosage the next week if all goes well... by week 3, you should be starting to give her a taste of bloom nutes, too.... Autoflowers are finicky but if you practice the "less is more" attitude with them, you'll do just fine. Good luck!

This week was stressful for us all because of the move. I've noticed some have been affected by this, probably stunted. Hopefully we will overcome this. Been watering with plain water and added some root juice and calmag after the transplantation. I use natural spring water with 0.0 ec but will start adding calmag when I start using nutes. Probably start with small dose of nutes at day 20 along with LST. I hope they can take it. Been having problem with the heat too, going as high as 82F (27.5c) hopefully it wont hurt them to much.

Hello, I have recently transplanted my green friends, is it time for me to start using nutes or should I wait for a bit after the transplant (possibly stunted)? Also I'm using spring water which is 0.0 EC, should I always use calmag to raise it up to 0.6 EC before adding nutes?

Odd, spring water is not normally 0.00EC may want to check the EC monitor to see if its working right. Spring water normally has mineral content of magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium, and other trace minerals, maybe it is distilled or RO water?? Any who despite that first hiccup. it will all depend what your growing them in, soil, peat, coir and if its been fortified. Beware some things called potting soil mixes are not truly soil and are comprised of peat mostly. Mixes tend to be fortified for the first 2 weeks and won't need anything. I would check your mediums mix and confirm if it is fortified with any slow release or regular fertilizers before feeding more. Then if it is wait a bit, and if it is not, feed them a low amount. Just remember autos do not like strong feeds and its best to use 1/2 to 1/4 the recommended dose or make up the feed as per the label and then dilute it down with more water till you hit your desired EC if using liquid nutrients and adjust the PH. Dry amendments are a bit easier and can use 1/2 to 3/4 strength with PH'd water. Good Luck!

Having some troubles as always but nothing major. I had lots of help so big thanks to all those who have given the time to give help! Much appreciated. Been going with only calmag to get EC up to 0.3-0.4 will start with low dose nutes next watering (day 21). It's been a bit high humidity levels during the nights so will try to get that fixed. Between 48-70% fluctuating. Also worth mentioning is that the smaller pots have been closer to the intake so their temp has been 23 day and 17.5-18 during night. The rest is 25-27 day and 19-21 during night. They have grown a lot in width but not as much on the height. Have lowered the intensity (50%) on some of the lamps to see if that will help them stretch a little more (and save on the energy bill). I will start with LST and no technique training (laying them down) in a couple of days if needed. Want to maximize the growspace. Watering every 3 days 0.2L, seems like that's a good amount. Will see how the react to the nutes. Also gonna need more fans soon so the airflow can stay as good. All tips and suggestions are much appreciated! And again huge thanks to all those who helped! Stay green friends!

Alot happening this week. I have been defoiliating slowly and tying down some branches. The nodes are getting real long now and fat as well. Some of the plants have started turning to preflower period and is looking great. Also raised up the lamps so they would stretch a little more since they are still very short. The big pots are growing crazy good but the small pots are doing just fine as well. I'm a little afraid I'm defoliating to fast but it seems like they could take it and has recovered well.

Was away for a bit and they started to wilt a bit. Thought it was going to get fixed and it sort of did but not as good as I had hoped. Preflowers on all the plant and have defoliated and given them more space now. Also started with more nutes. Happy holidays¡

Growing like crazy, had some problems with underwatering because I thought it was over watering but it wasn't so I waited for it to dry but it already was. The nuggies are starting to get a little bigger and they are drinking crazy amounts of water. I put 1L(35oz) and after just 2 days they were begging for more. I now put 1.4L and will see how fast they will drink it. Having so troubles maintaining the heat and humidity as always but that's an ongoing struggle. I have also come across what I believe is powder mildew. Been removing it as good as I can. Been lousy at taking photos this week, sorry about that.

Progress is being made, seeing some difference in bud size and getting a little denser too. It seems like they have stopped growing in height and they all varies between 30-90cm(1-3feet). The shorter ones are really bushy and taller has thinner leaves. I prefer the shorter ones. The 1 gallon pots aren't doing as good. They have nute problems but no time to give them the love they need, thinking of removing. Some yellowing of the leaves at the bottom and some signs of lacking of nutes after only using calmg water might have been a little to much cause it was coming out some at the bottom. pH and ec meter broken so are getting a new one. Should be fine tho. Plucking some leaves mostly the bigger fan leaves but also the ones going from the nodes inwards the stem for better airflow. Got some high temps up to 31.5C but was only a short while and I'm not seeing any signs of heat stress or things like that. I lowered intensity of lights to about 80-90% to lower temp. Also one of the plants (last picture) is stunted or something because it looks like it doesn't want to grow or not very vigorous, will see if I keep it. Everyone deserves a fair chance tho. Stay green, friends! Also might have mixed up the days on some of them, sorry about that.

Trouble in paradise. 10-15% of my girls are showing problems, yellowing leaves. I think it's a pH problem due to the meter being broken. Not sure if it was broken longer than I thought since I've read that problems normally don't show until after 2 weeks has past. Bud growth is going well and I notice how the getting harder and bigger. Hopefully I can correct the pH to the perfect levels. Also forgot to take pictures everyday.

Seeing progress but they have taken a turn for the worse because of pH meter broken again and leaves turning yellow and purple. But I think they are looking quite similar to the pictures of the strain at fastbuds site. Unsure and I don't like it. Performed defoliation during the week as well and they are looking better. Better airflow. Fastbuds says it's 70 days from seed but I think it might be more like 90. Some cloudy trichomes but mostly clear and have not seen any amber at all. Also I found one hair that is completely pink. Very cool. Some buds are pinkish and purple and some are more green. But leaves are green, yellow and purple. Gonna try to fix pH soon. Damn cheap chinese knockoff brand. 😡 Stay green growmies

This is week 10, made a mistake on the last post. So the day counter should be -7 days on the last post. Sorry, got a little confused. I don't know how to edit it. Everything is going ok but not as well as hoped. pH meter broke after just a couple of days. Got a new one but it was really hard to calibrate so it not 100% correct. 3.3 showed 3.5 5.6 showed 5.5 So I'm guessing 6.2 should be around 6.0-6.3 which should be good. Some of the plants are purple which I like. Pink buds but also greyish buds and yellowing leaves. My estimated time was 90 days but now I'm reevaluating that so maybe 80 days so not far to go. Trichomes are milky and clear I'm just waiting for the amber to show. Seen some but I'm not sure if it's just the reflection of the hairs. Lots of hairs are still white and some are turning. 60% white. I harvested the (12 of them) 1 gallon pots because they weren't getting the love they needed. It was 136.5g wet and is now 31G dry (about 23% remaining) before going into a jar. Smelling kinda good but not as good as before. So a low yield (2.5g each). Not surprised since they weren't finished nor looking very good. Hopefully the smoke will be good. Forgot to take photos some days sorry. Also the picture with black looking leaves are actually purple but looks black. Stay green (or purple) friends

Week 11. This week I feel like it's time to start flushing and soon harvest. Been having some problems and it's probably to late to try to correct it. Mostly milky trichomes but some still clear. You can see how my best girl suffered from nice dark green to brownish and yellowing 😡

Should flushing have any runoff? Also how will they react when I flush and the pH has been to high? Was 7 and I put 6.1, 1.7L, got around 0.3L runoff. Also one girl isn't drinking, been 3 days and still wet whilst the others want more. Should I harvest her? Thanks Hard nice nugs

If you flush properly, you should have LOTS and LOTS of runoff... a flush is considered a flush when you've run 3x the pot volume of pH'd water through the pot... so if they're 3 gallon pots, you'd need to run 9 gallons of water through her - yeah, there should indeed be runoff! But if you're doing a slow, end of the grow flush, then there should also be some runoff - but that type of flush is done simply by giving her only water for the last week or so... If one lady isn't drinking anything, you may have some root problems or she may have been reacting to the high pH... If she's close to harvest but not harvestable yet, I'd just let her be... no need to harvest her early and don't give her any more water. Good luck....
