White Widow Feminized

I took her down on day 70. She may have bulked up more if I’d left her another week, but she was yellowing quickly and trichomes were mostly milky so I decided it was time. I cut the plant at the base and hung her up whole, removing only the largest fan leaves. Then it was 4 days hanging in the tent at 65 degrees and 60% humidity. Then into a cardboard box with brown paper for 3 days, then into a plastic tote with brown paper for another 2 days. At that point, I separated the branches and did a more thorough trim and jarred her up. Within 24 hours she’d stabilized at 64% in the jars. I’ll be monitoring for the next few weeks, White Widow seems to do better with an extended cure. I’ve sampled a bit and she smokes just like I remember, just a bit rough yet. White Widow is one of my favorite and most requested strains, I’ve grown it many times and it never fails me. I’ve left it to cure for 5 weeks now and it makes such a difference! The aroma and flavor are more complex, sweet and fruity in the jar and earthy and sweet herbs when ground up. The taste of sweet herbs lingers in my mouth and after 2 or 3 puffs the feeling of being lifted up comes over me. This energizing feeling will last an hour or 2 then I’ll feel chatty and relaxed. Another hit or 2 and the energy comes back. I can smoke this all day.
