Placed in paper towel on 12/1, root out on 12/2, planted in jiffy evening on 12/2 and sprouted 12/3 morning and placed under light. Watering with plain distilled water wheb pod is dry and running humidity at 60 - 70%
Seedling week 1.
Growing really good. Will transplant to pot in the next day. Still haven't decided if I want to use Tupur for this grow or soil. I'm leaning towards soil, because the hand watering with high Frequency fertigation is grueling. Probably will look into investing in auto waterers or blumats or similar before I go back to tupur. I really like growing in the tupur.
Transplanted to Tupur 12/15. Rinsed Tupur down to .287 EC then watered to runoff with balanced light grow nutes before placing seedling in. Did not water with CalMag.
Increased lux by 1000.
12/22 - started fertigating with 5ml calmag a gallon. Which I'll do for 2 weeks or so. In .6 ec. Once I mixed the solution I had to cut it down with plain water to get EC in range. Apx 2 parts plain water to 1 part nutrient solution.
12/24 - Increased fertigation to 2 times a day continue to increase light every other day.
12/27 - growing good! Will be ready to go in the main space and a topping in the next week.
12/29 - started applying week 2 veg nutes.
12/30 - moved to main grow space under 300w light.
Runoff numbers PM feeding
Ph 6.09 EC .590 PPM 295
1/1 - topped plant down to 3rd node and removed growth tips below 3rd node. Prepping for mainlining and LST.
Increased floranova grow to 2.25 ml/gl.
Runoff numbers PM feeding
Ph 6.15 EC .594 PPM 297
1/2 - freaking magnesium deficiency! Ugh! Raised Ph of Inflow to 6.2. Applied CalMag Foliar to undersides of leaves an hour before lights out. I'm already applying 5ml/gallon of calmag and Ph has been in range so I dont know what else I can do. I think I know where I messed up though. Forgot to dilute EC down with calmag water instead of plain water last week. 🙃 at least it's early.
1/3 - applied non diluted calmag foliar at lights out.
1/4 - mag deficiency has slowed/stopped. *fingers crossed* Didn't seem to stunt growth any. Inflow/outflow finally stabilized and in range from low EC in runoff.

What a week.
1/5 - Mag Def continues to improve. Leaves are getting their darker green coloring back.
Applied calmag foliar at lights out.

Ph 6.28 EC .742 PPM 370
1/6 - seems to be doing well. Growing like crazy. May top 2nd time today/tomorrow. Increased Grow nutes and EC slightly. Left calmag at 5ml/gl until I know I'm out of the woods on deficiency. Then I'll start slightly decreasing calmag and increasing base nutes.
Went ahead and bent 2 sides over and nipped growth tips coming from 2nd node on each. Haven't topped yet, need that tip to push put a wee bit more.

Calmag issue kept trying to test me, but finally got that issue under control. Well I'll never trust anything that says it's "pre buffered" again. I usually buffer it anyway, but decided to trust it this time. And no. Lesson learned.
Really haven't had time to detail every moment and measurement of my grow the last 1.5 weeks.
So ended this week with a trimming, cutting off all growth that isn't that 8 main colas. And letting her go into flower starting tomorrow 1/19.
1/19 - 3.2 grow 4 calimag 1 floralicious
1/19 - first day of flower. Will use a mix of grow/bloom nutes for at least the next 3 weeks while she stretches. Hopefully I can keep this calmag issue at bay. Will continue foliar application for at least the next week.

CalMag issue I was having is officially done gone and over with. Phew. She has recovered beautifully and I'm excited to see her start forming her flowers.
