Will veg these babies for another two weeks or so then flip to flower for 7 weeks
Will feed power bloom at week 5 / week 1 of flower
12/25 - brewing up some tea to feed tomorrow
30ml liquid seaweed
20ml uncle john's band
1/3 jar of backstrap molasses's
2 cups of gaia green worm castings
1 cup of bat guano
4 tbps of mykos
Light is currently running a little over halfway @ 166w to get these girls vegging good.
Will post a LUX reading next time I do it.
1/1/2023 - Light defoliation on more mature clones before flip to flower / Light defoliation on Sweet Zenzation Seed & Lst to shorten her
1/2/2023 - Updated diary with the rest of the strains in the tent, might as well. So will update on all of these throughout flower as well.
1/2/2023 - Turned up light to 230w & moved up an inch or two.
Shiskaberry is very susceptible to mold, have had a couple bits of mold appear on my top layer from MINOR overwatering.
But this mostly seems to be in seedling / small clone / VERY early veg stages.
I've only had this happen to the mother once when young, and one clone in tent.
Cleaned out any that I saw let dry and proceeded like normal with no more issues.
A cause for concern if I keep this as a mother plant, however not entirely TOO much of a big deal for me.
It's pretty dry here right now & it seems like a good smoke, so I will at least keep her til Spring / Summer.
My mother doesn't face this problem anymore as being so big in a 3 gallon she uses her water very quickly.
On a positive note, she bounces back pretty quick from repotting from Rapid Rooters.
Not quite as fast as my Sweet Zenzation, but she grows a hell of a lot faster than my Sweet Zenzation.
Momma Shikaberry grew to like 2 feet in 2ish months, the oldest of these clones have grown to almost a foot in under a month.
I plan to start 12/12 at the end of this week. Some plants are much shorter than others,
But we'll wing it. This is my first experiment with clones and I didn't have a tent's worth ready at start.
That being said, I will be happy with any outcome I get 😁
Growing is about having fun and trying things! Try something new!
Russian Auto is approx about 3-4 weeks in flower.
Didn't date when I dropped her, but seeing as she's forming budlets, I'd say 3-4 weeks flower.
Gonna cut Russian Auto at the end of this week.
Beautiful purples coming out of the Russian because of the winter weather finally hitting. (I believe.)
Switched out SZ with WR for the middle spot, just wasn't comfortable with how close it was to the light,
and figured it'd be best to give the WR the middle spot for the rest of it's last week-ish.
Definitely my best grow so far. Hoping for a LB 🤞🏻
Russian was decent, nothing crazy bud wise. Decent smoke,
Not a great yielding plant, however a fast growing plant.
I would have grown in at least 5 gallon pots & had grown multiple.
Under an zip a plant isn't great at all, however I also didn't do much training.
Growing this was better than last time in my opinion. Obviously I let it flower for much longer and was able to bring out some beautiful purples! Excited to dry, cure & test out this 😎
Cut the plant 2/6/23 , threw into dry box.
20.19g off this plant. Not a heavy yielder, in my experience of two runs.
SUPER sweet lemon smell coming off of Shiskaberry. Wow!
Shiskaberry didn't mind my late feed last week, Sweet Zenzation is definitely bummed.
Nugs are still swelling on up though, just a much lighter color currently.
Could of overwatered as well. Dried a bit and the Gaia Green Power Bloom nutrients should be taking effect soon.
Will probably run one more compost tea this week
2/13
-Switched my Controller to 60% humidity, to help try to achieve a proper VPD of 1.11~,
Had absolutely no clue how out of whack my VPD was.
-Grabbed some Gaia Green Mineralized Phosphate & Glacial Rock Dust to try out!
Will be feeding everything today. The Glacial Rock Dust will be applied at 3TBSP / pot & the Mineralized Phosphate will be applied @ 6tsp / pot
2/14
-Cut myself yesterday on a mason jar while cleaning it, so I almost immediately ordered some Grove Bags.
I'd much rather spend a little money on that than deal with potentially 10+ mason jars.
Sweet Zenzation is balancing back out from the overwater. Hopefully won't affect yield or flowering time.
The calyxes on Shiskaberry are so fat it's insane. The mother is almost budding still in veg because the calyxes are so fat.
2/18/23 - Shiskaberry is beginning to flush. About two - three more weeks.
Shiskaberry smells so lemony and sweet 🤤
Will be doing trichome shots daily so I can watch the trichomes change.
Shiskaberry should be good to cut about the end of this week - mid next week.
Sweet Zenzation just started flushing so should be good in about 2 more weeks.
2/25- started watering with ice. giving that a try this run, even though i haven't before.
I like this strain. Buds fatten up so much and are extremely dense to squeeze. Almost full resistance lol.
Pre Cure smoke : Growing had a ton of hints of lemon, smoking before cure not too much taste. Bud is extremely more potent than the dispo bud I usually get. Some buds I get hints of berry, very light. I have 2 oz in Grove Bags to cure. Some still drying.
I'd say I pulled about 6oz in total off Shiskaberry.
Smoked a little between. Probably curing between 4-5 oz
Didn't pull as much as I wanted because I did not veg majority of plants in the tent long enough.
Lesson learned and now that I have a veg tent and flower tent, it'll be much easier to make sure my plants are mature enough.
Smells like straight Skittles or Fruit Loops. Fruity Sweet Candy taste on the smoke, aroma is just so good lol
More energy giving kinda strain for me, as off the first hit got a heart rate increase, don't get that in a lot of smokes
Good stuff! Will run a little longer on the next run, I cut just a little early.
I do enjoy the taste of this and am excited to try it in different ways.
Will and am currently growing this out again, thankfully!
Hey @majinglue, great diary!
Thanks a bunch for growing our Russian Auto, and sharing this diary with us :)
We hope that it was a nice experience, and that you enjoy the harvest!
Have a nice weekend
