Plants still growing well. Preflowers still forming but still in small amounts, so based on that and other peoples answers I’m going with it being a photo. If anybody has any training techniques they think would help the grow lmk

I am going to say its leaning toward photoperiod because it is from Bag Seed and the weed your getting on the market is almost always photoperiod as the yield and management of the plants are much easier. And plants 100% show there sex when they are ready to flower even in veg. it means they are mature and ready but will not fully flip to flower till the light cycle or photoperiod changes. This will show by small pistils developing out of nodes on females but buds will not form just single pistils. As for bag seed there are some risks to it and ifs its all you got, then ok, but idealy you should being growing gentics you know the orgin of. The risk comes from not know where the pollen came from that made the seed, Was it self pollinated meaning its a hermi. That's not something you want to keep growing as it could do the same thing again and make your entire grow seeded. just a lot of unknowns that arn't worth it in my experience, but on the flip side of that coin, some of the best weed in history came from bag seed at a grateful dead concert. soo make your call. I have also growing bag seed, and out of it one was male, and one was hermi two females and they where good but if I wanted to keep growing them there genetics are not robust and would have more and more problems each generation. PS. I have seen some autos take upto 9 weeks to enter flower before, it is because they are getting crossed a lot and can stay in veg for extended periods of time now. No harm in flipping to 12/12 if you want it to bloom now. Best Of Luck!

Looking for any training techniques to boost production of my plant. Space is not really an issue either if anybody could recommend anything I’d really appreciate it.

For a plant growing outside there is no reason for training. The only thing you need to do is put her in a spot where she get as much (direct) sunlight as possible. And feed her the necessary nutrients for every phase. A grow nutrient with enough nitrogen (N) during the grow phase. And a blooming nutrients with enough phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) during flowering. When the buds start to swell (2-3 weeks after you notice the first white hairs) you can add a PK-Booster like PK 13/14 The plant is using the phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) to make the buds. Training plants is really for indoor growing where you want the light (that is stuck and only shines from 1 direction) to reach all the parts of the plants and buds equally. Nature did her work to catch as much sunlight and for that be as efficient as possible for cannabis outside. Her shape is made (by nature) to catch as much sunlight as possible. People might tell you to do LST or defolliation. But really when this would have been the way to go mother nature would have done this with cannabis over the many thousands years of evolution. Growing inside is a whole different story because you do not work with the elements. You try to fake them as good as possible. But will never be as good as mother nature herself! Let the plant do her thing and enjoy the show!
