Apple Fritter x Gluey Organic Grow

KaliJay_420 12-22-2022 It’s the first week of Veg and the seedlings are heading for a good start. I thinned out the 3 out of the 9 that sprouted, leaving me 6 healthy sprouts. I will eventually will eliminate two more once they get a little older, leaving me with 4 total. So far I’m just adding water when dry. Starting today I’ll be going from 24/0 to 18/6 light cycle. Par is around 200 umol.

KaliJay_420 12-30-2022 It’s been Week 2 of Veg and things are going smoothly. So far no signs of deficiencies and toxicity. Some of the phenotypes are showing slower growth than some. So far been just adding water as needed.

KaliJay_420 01-06-2023 Week 3 of veg I have transplanted the girls into a 1 gallon pot. I used my special organic soil blend and water them down with seaweed and fish emulsions. I also roped them at the third node for the start of the mainline training. So far all is good and maintaining good health.

KaliJay_420 01-13-2023 Week 4 of veg and grown out two branches which I will top them off to produce 4 potential colas. I will once more top again to get a total of 8 colas. I will eventually put up a trellis net to add additional support.

KaliJay_420 01-20-2023 Week 5 of veg, I transplanted these girls to bigger 3 gal pots with the same veg soil mix. Appears to have some stress out of the three phenotypes except one appeared to be short but no signs of spots and wilting. But overall growth is not stunted. will continue to monitor over the next week.

KaliJay_420 01-27-2023 It’s Week 6 of veg and training has been good 👍 They the stem and leaves has a nice smell to them can’t put my nose on it but I can describe it as a sour fruity sweet smell to it. Can’t wait to see how the buds smell like. I just topped the 4 branches again, so I now have a total of 8 colas each plant. I’ll let her grow out some more and I will be transplanting again in probably one or two more weeks to the bigger 10 gal pots.

KaliJay_420 02-03-2023 It’s week 7 and about a week later after they been topped a third time. I have now a total of 8 colas each plant. I let these girls veg out a bit and fill up the tent. I have already mixed up a batch of my organic flower soil mix and let it cook for about a week or so. I’ll start transplanting the plants in about a week or two. I’ll just wing it for now and see how they are next weekend. So far I have very different phenotypes, #1 being the shortest but the most resistant to stress and ph swings. #2 being the largest but the most sensitive to stress and ph swings. And the others #3 being the second smallest, and #4 being the second largest. I really can’t wait til I flip them and see how this cultivar looks, smells, and smokes 💨

KaliJay_420 02-10-2023 Week 8, I transplanted all the girls in big 10 gallon Living soil Fabric Pots I follow the motto “The bigger the Roots the bigger the fruits”. I mixed up the soil using Dr Earths flower Amendments. I also threw in some Seabird Guano as well. I’ll let these girls get comfy for about two more weeks and I’ll flip them at Week 10.

KaliJay_420 02-17-2023 It’s Week 9, Plants are definitely showing some transplant stress, but seems to be recovering fine. I have been giving some seaweed extract and hydrolyzed fish in hopes to reduce transplant stress. So far just waiting for these to recover before flipping. I do notice the leaves smell really sweet and fruity. It was very pleasant but subtle. Can’t wait to smell what the buds will smell like. I did take some clones of all 4 phenos so I can keep the best of the 4 for a potential mother plant.

KaliJay_420 02-24-2023 It’s week 3 and and seems these girls are ready to be flipped. All I’m doing is training and watering. So far having troubles maintaining lower PH, I believe I might of put too much oyster shells and Dolomite lime, other than that all seems to be good.

KaliJay_420 03-10-2023 It’s 2nd week of flower and appears everything is growing fine. There is definitely noticeable difference between all 4 phenos. It’s too early to tell what is my favorite yet but they all look good! Just wish their heights were all consistent. Just plugging away with water. I do feed every week with Dr Earth liquid amendments.
